I bought this amp and i was amazed at how good it sounded. I had never owned a Randall before but the sound is amazing, i was kinda dissapointed with the lack of versatility with the genres of music you can play with it though, even though hard rock and metal are the most fun to play!

It might sound kinda minty but im using a Big Block Strat with a fatstrat set up (S/S/H) with Enforcers on it and it gives a great tone with this amp. I've been playing some Van Halen and old Ozzy tunes like Panama and Crazy Train, i like all the gain you get with this thing but i tried playing the song Spanish Fly by halen and it sounded kind of off cause of the clean channel, it doesnt sound so hot sometimes.

I put my full faith in this amp, i have never had a problem with it and i have had it for 2 years. The only thing i wish was that they put some damn weels on the thing.

I have been playing for 5 years and i own a BB Strat, a Gibson V. I really like how you can just pump the bass on it and put full gain and it sounds sooooo gnarly. I dont really like how the clean channel sounds though, they could have made that a little better. I dont think i would buy this again if it was stolen cause i like to try new things and be versitile with my equipment, so i'd probably go for a Crate, one of the Blue Voodoo series or something...

100w Solid state amp. 3 channels (clean, overdrv1, overdrv2), fx loop, headphone jack, stereo speaker out,
This amp is a classic one trick pony. It's great for really heavy distortion, but it's a little weak on most anything else.
If u don't play hard rock or metal, it's probably not very useful. With that said, it has a great tonal range when it comes to heavy music.

I use this amp with a few different guitars, all H/H or S/S/H
Ibanez Andy Timmons sig, Washburn Dimebag sig, BC Rich Flying V:.
I play mostly hard rock/metal with it, and it's a wildman!
It plays real hard and real loud, and imo it has a lot of variety within that genre. Besides a 3-band eq, it has 3 different volume pots (master, channel volume, gain) and another interesting function; contour, which toggles the mids in a little different fashion that just the eq. With just the turn of a knob I can go from a raunchy trash metal sound to a modern industrial sound! All in all great sound!!

I've had this amp for nearly two years, and i've only recently encountered one small problem. Had problems with noise from the amp a few months ago - took it to the dealer, and they found out the problem was with the fx loop. All they did was plug a jack into it and take it out, and the amp works sweetly again. All in all very stable. After all, it is solid state.

I've been playing for about six years, and a also own a peavey combo.
My guitars are an ibanez, a washburn, a bc rich, and also a Carvin S/S/S. If this amp was lost, I'm not completely sure wether i would buy it again, because it has very limited usage (and i play other styles than metal as well), but this amp rocks. So I probably would get a new one. When I bought it, I compared it with a few peavey and crate heads, but none of them had the same kick that this one has.
Wish it had a better clean channel, honestly, that's this amp's one weakness. Note: The 'price paid' I've translated to dollars from Norwegian Kroner. The price is on a norwegian level, which is much higher than the american...

It's a great little half-stack, don't let anybody tell you that tubes are better than solid state because they're totally wrong and this thing is proof.

I use a Jackson PS-two and a Zoom 505 effects peddle and I can get sweet metally highs and lows that will shake my whole room around and when I want to make the Dime bag squeel it'll wake anybody up. NO FUZZ OR POPCORN, that's what I like the most about it, you don't get any static when you play or even when your plugging and unpluggging stuff into it.

HELL YA, there's no tubes involved, you can shake your bedroom to the early lite not worrying about twenty year old technology(tubes) going to shit on you.

Its great. I upgraded from a Fender 2x12 and the sound is phenomonal. It has the low end response I like, the highs sing and mids stay out of the way. I havent had a chance to crank it past half because I live in an apartment, but even at that point it has the belly button flapping ability. It'd be a bit much to ask for, but I'd like to be able to play with the EQ a bit more.

I'm playing through my Ibanez RG550 stock everything getting sounds comp from Sepultura, Slayer, and Megadeth. The stock sound is sweet, but running the effects loop through my Boss Metal Zone and then throught the compressor, EQ and a touch of reverb in my ART I get the best low end rumble with the harsh overdrive i love. I had my friend who plays exlusively jazz play his Epiphone Sheraton through the amp without any effects and he fell in love instantly. Clean is vibrant, lush and responsive.

I'm into 8 years of playing and I'm not to the stage financially where its possible to look for more. I certain it'll keep me happy for another 5-6 years at least.

It has explosive power. 3 channells clean/crunch/lead for versatility The clean channell is above average in tone and delivery. The crunch is better than the best Marshall (believe me, I own a Marshall)The lead is a little brighter than the crunch. Little feedback It is the Dimebag Darrell signiture amp

The Distortion is Brutal, near Pantera like. Perfect for my music style I play a Dimebag signature Washburn with DiMarzio "evolution" pickups and a B.C. Rich rich bitch with custom Duncans.
