I think it was made in the 80's, I play rock and ska, and some balads too. I think it is a very good amp, besides it??s an oldschool. It has one eq for both chanels, but for my playin?? style it has not been a problem. Its sound is really big but I??d like more bottom end, but a pedal or external fx it??s solved

Sound Quality : 9
Included reverb is a little noisy, maybe the only important drawback. The rest is a very pleasant clean chanel and a good rockin' overdrive. I need no more than this for punk, rock, ska and some metal. But when used with an external multieffects I have, it sound really perfect, from another planet!!! In this case it functions as a power amp, with the eq totally flat.

Reliability : 10
A very reliable amp, in seven years just one or two little problems, nothing serious despite I have used and abused it, lots of travels, concerts, studio recordings, all that without a case and many times times travellin' by bus.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I'm in chile, so there's no randall official stores, the only problem I had was solved by a technician with nothing more than a solderin' iron, It has never needed a piece replacement.

Overall Rating : 9
I use it with a Washburn guitar and a Peavey addverb III, I have played marshalls, peaveys, crates, etc. I am no disappointed because a chose Randall, it's a very good amp, its color make it different on the stage (white) and its extreme high volume sounded alone many times (no need of reinforcement)

This amp has all the features you could need. Effects loop, dirrect out, high & low imputs, clean chanel (Master level & gain) distortion chanel (Master level & gain) Bright switch. High, mid, low & presence knobs control both chanels and that is it's only flaw. I gave it a 7 due to it should have control know for both chanels. And they did not adjust the tone very well.

Sound Quality : 6
I use several guitars. I use it through a Fender 4X12 cabinet. As far as it's tone. By it's self it is more of a light rock amp. But if you put a DOD Grunge pedal in front of the clean chanel and do some tweeking you get a full on BRUTAL Distortion! My style is FearFactory, Sepultura,MachineHead & Disturbed. It's pretty quite. I play in a band with another guitarist and it works fine. Plenty of power. I give it a low rating due to it not being the Dimebag sound by it's self.

Reliability : 10
Bought it used and it works fine. It's a solid state amp so not much can go wrong.

Customer Support : 8
I called once and they were very helpful to the questions I asked. But then they are not going to talk down a product they sale.

Overall Rating : 7
I've been playing for 5yrs and this amp is great with the setup I have. I wish it had more gain by it's self and that the tone knob adjusted the sound better.
