As stated by everyone else, its a pre Washburn Randall head and its as lous as f*ck... 120 watts my arse.
The styles of music I play vary from Thrash to pop punk.
Theres no reverb channel.. but im fine with that cuz reverb is crap n e way. I gig with this ampconstanly, ima memberof the UK's hardest working punk rock band and its always had enough power for me.

Sound Quality : 10
Im using an Epiphone LP Studio and nowa homemade LP both with the regular epiphone pickups in there.
The distortion channel by its self ispretty weak so I fired a boss Turbo Overdrive pedal and found some really really really kickass settings.
I like to plug up 2 cabs and put one at either side of the stage and the other on the other side and believe me, the sound is fantastic.
Like any other amp, it takes some fiddling about. I hate other poeple using it due to me being so hapy with the sound I dont like othre people fucking it up

Reliability : 10
never ever had a problem. I'd like tohave a backup just incase.. but cant affoardone.Im more than confident that I wouldnt need one mind you.

Customer Support : No Opinion
No idea

Overall Rating : 10
Iveplayed hundreds of gigs without this amp.. and I never wanna play another again without using this thing.
It is an old head, yes - it looks it, yes - its only 120 watts - . . . aparintly.. ive never used it above 6 and my drummer hits those drums like a complete maniac, anylouder would prolly drown the wee bastard out.
If it were lost or stolen, i'd find who did it and beat the be-jesus out of him. I'dlike to replace it, but I have no idea where I could get one!!
In my time, i've used plenty of heads. Nothing compaires to the sound of this.
It ricks, if you can buy it - get it.

all that you could get out of an 80's solid state head
but it sounded oh so good and was as loud as hell
i dont know if mine was speacial or not but it had this cool uber flamable capret coviering it

Sound Quality : 10
i used mainly my 75 emg equiped sg with it
and it sounded flawless i had the perfect mix of slight over drive and clean sound due to the fact that i could use both channels at once
the distorion sound like the white stripes so i threw a boss metal zone in font of it and found..my sound

Reliability : 10

I had a late 80's RG120 with gray covering. I used it strickly for playing speed metal. I used it with an old acoustic 4 x 12 cab (with 25 watt celestions). It was really loud. Peanty of volume to be heard over the drums. I was even told at a gig to turn the amp down because it was drownding out the PA.

Sound Quality : 7
I mainly used strat styled and a BC Rich Bich with this amp, all with Seymore Duncan pickups. At its best it was really warm and thick and had a great presence. YOu really feel like you had something. You had to use a distortion to get the metal crunch, because the amp dosn't have enough gain to get the sound. It seemed to go from distorted to clean quite easily with the footswitch. I like the fact you could use both channels at once which gave it some tonal varity. The clean channel by itself wasen't nothing special, it was ok, but you could sort of hear a tiny bit of the distorted channel in the background. It was useable for the most part...

Reliability : 3
This was the amps downfall. I don't know if it was just this amp or if all the others are like this, but it seems like if I would bring the amp on a gig if would sound differently, in my opinion due to tempature or humidity of the club, or the lack of good clean AC to power it. I've had it just clip and buzz at certain locations making it almost impossable to even use it. I'd bring it home and 2 days later it would sound fine. In any case, it would sound differently every time I turned it on. Finally I got so sick of it, I traded it in on a BBE Pre-amp for the rack system I was putting together and got $80 trade in value. It wasn't reliable enough for what I was doing back then.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them. Bought it used.

Overall Rating : 5
Its not bad. I would own one just to have it around. It would be good for something.

Older Randall amp (pre-Washburn). I traded my Marshall JCM800 head for this, and I'm glad. Single-channel head, effects loop. Five-band equalizer plus low, mid, and high controls for setting your tone precisely. The head pumps out 120 watts of pure clean tone (although I've never heard a 120 watt head this loud!). Solid state. No distortion channel.

Sound Quality : 10
I own many guitars and they all sound perfect through this amp for my style of playing - rock/metal. EMG-81's full blast distort the signal, may be the speaker cab maxxed out though. Completely silent. I've found that with the equalizer set to a normal setting (boost the low and high, cut the mid, for metal), the head is loud, but when you crank every knob on the EQ to 10, the amp blasts out about 800 times louder and still retains a 100% clean sound through single coils (vintage Strat), and humbuckers (Hamer Scarab).

Reliability : 10
I would definately take this to a gig without a backup -- I've never had a problem with the amp, and it's a solid state (no stupid tubes to replace), the Marshall I owned had every imaginable problem - tubes had to be replaced, short in the grounding, buzz at high volumes, burst into flames in the middle of the set - but I've never had a problem with this head. Even dropped it off a full Marshall 4x12 stack straight onto the stage, still worked perfect (amazed at that still!).

Customer Support : 7
I emailed Randall/Washburn about getting a user's manual or any information on the head, they replied instantly but told me that it was before Washburn bought Randall, and they had no info on it whatsoever -- oops.

Overall Rating : 10
I play this head through an ART Xtreme, DigiTech XP-100, and occasionally a Boss Dual Overdrive (use it as a volume adjust pedal), and have been using it in shows for about a year now. If I were to lose it -- I don't know where I'd get another one, but I'd try! It's the loudest head I've ever heard - honestly, with the EQ maxxed out, I can't turn the volume past 1.5 or 2 (out of 10) at practice or there's no more drummer! It blew away my JCM 800 Marshall head in all factors - solid state (no expensive replacement tubes), sheer volume (the Marshall was a 100 watt, but not half the volume this is!), this is quieter than any amp I've ever played in my life (even a Fender). Nothing else I wish it had - it's just a powerhouse head, I don't use amp distortion or effects anyway, they're never any good! If you can find one somewhere get it! You'll be glad you did.
