Features : 8
Gain boost switch. 2 chanells with seperate EQ's (3 band). Stereo out @ 4ohms, 8 ohms mono. Effects send/return. Wish that Randall hadn't gone with the annoying FS5 6 pin footswitch. if only they had the forsight to know that these would be a pain in the arse to find 20 years later.

Sound Quality : 9
From what I've found, this is the same schematic of the Randall Century 200, but with the RG power source. I haven't played a C200 to know the difference, but this amp stands on it's own. Clean is nothing to write home about, but the gain and crunch from this rare relic are legendary, as assissted by Dimebag Darrell. A lot of people swear he only used RG100ES's, RG100HT's, C200's and Warheads from Randall, but there are a few pics out there showing his live rig loaded with RG200ES's. Please no hate mail on the lack of proof on Dime's rig. I know people are very passionate about recreating his legendary sound and will pounce on any opportunity of lack in fact, but lets move on. There is the good 'ol Randall ES gain boost, this time a clearly labeled switch instead of the "You better know it's there" pull out knob. Still has the same problem with volume drop, but this monster gets loud enough to compensate. I use the beast with sustain boost at a level of 6 and it kills live. Of course it may not cut it in an arena, but how many of us are in that position. This amp alone is not gonna get the Dime tone, but it is the meat of it. I use a few (4) rack mounted gear and a modest array of pedals to get the chainsaw distortion with some bells and whistles thrown in. The amp I base my sound off of, but not the only source of my sound. The amp as stand alone is a killer though. The new Randall products can't even stand in the same lunch line as this thing.

Reliability : 10
Almost 20 years old, and only dirty pots.

Customer Support : 1
Good luck with that. Randall does not support/acknowledge this era of equipment. The company was bought out soon after this model. Find a good amp tech and there are a few schematics online for help.

Overall Rating : 10
A monster, a beast, a rare find. Even though Dime used this amp as a staple of his early Pantera sound, it can be molded into a variety of styles. I use a BBE 462 and that with the amp can produce a nice and wet jazzy sound. I'm a metal guy at heart, so this whole review comes from that perspective. I've been playing for, oh wait, who even cares!
