I have had this amp for about 6 years and many guitars later! The amp itself is 10 years old being built in 1997. EVERYTHING on this amp is tweakable, which is amazing. There are endless possibilities with this piece of equipment! It has 2 direct outputs [(for stereo capibilities), global eq for whatever cabinet you run it to (or recording machine) because when you hook it into a cabinet there might be tones that you lose or gain and you can compensate for that with the global eq], midi controller compatible, input and output knobs!, and almost any other thing that you would want out of a digital amplifier. This amp is just amazing!

Sound Quality : 10
This amp can produce almost any sound that you want from leslie to tremelo.... endless.
Dime is my favorite... So you know that it has to have some killer distortion Crunch From Hell! The clean tones on this can be from twangy, bluesey, thick, and thin... Like I said endless possibilities! I use several guitars in the band that I am in:
Dean Dime-o-Flame with a Dimebucker and a 59 (Seymour Duncans)
Washburn Camo Dime-V same picups as the Dean.
Ibanez RG470DX with stock Ibanez pickups.
Ibanez RG320 with stock Ibanez pickups.
The bands I have been in have been of the heavier orientation... So the heavy sounds that I need are there... On the other end of the spectrum I like all types of music like Blues and Jazz.... It hase all of the appropriate tones for all kinds of music and all types of musician... you might have to tweak some of it but EVERYTHING on EVERY CHANNEL is fully 100% tweakable!

Reliability : 10
Like I said above I have had this amp for about 6 years and I have never had to have it serviced! nothing on this amp has ever broken... Not even the handles or casters! That is amazing considering that I have gigged with it for almost as long as I have had it. The only thing having to do with this amp that I have ever replaced are cables and guitars!!!

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for abour 20 years (I'm 25). I have this thing running with my "Frankenstein rig"... I have it actually for a processor... I run the direct out into a 50 watt tube head that runs through a 4x12 cab with a rack tuner and sonic maximizer... sounds messed up I know... the only thing that I will ever replace it with is the ROCKTRON PROPHESY 2.... So, having said that BUY THIS AMP IF YOU EVER SEE IT IN A WINDOW OF A USED SHOP OR IF A FRIEND IS GETTING RID OF IT.... IT IS THE BEST.... EVEN OVER LINE 6 ANYTHING EVEN THE VETTA 2!!!!! I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE!

This is a very versatile and flexible amp. (I find this is inherent to modeling/DSP units as well as multi-effect pedals in general.)

I know I bought an outdated and discontinued (some may even say antiquated) amp, but I didn't buy this amp on the basis of features. (I bought it based on its sound and its price.)

One can easily research it's features, let me note what I am impressed with and what I find is lacking...

Impressed With:
1. Stereo XLR line out
2. Dedicated tuner line out
3. Output control (which I believe they call Variac)

Lacking:
1. Headphone Jack - almost a necessity for a late-night musician in an apartment, especially when at the amp's lowest possible setting. This may or may not be circumvented by hooking it up to a mixer, if anyone knows, pleasee let me know!)
2. Quirky interface

Like I said, I bought it based on it's wonderful sound and and great used price. However, I would not have bought this amp if buying an amp based on features alone...

Sound Quality : 10
I currently run a Parker PM-20 into the Taboo Twin.

I find this amp is just overflowing with solid, sweet, and totally useable clean sounds, regardless of the pickup configuration I'm using.

When it comes to distorted, so far preset #99 (I'm The One) is the one that calls to me (no pun or coincedental verbiage similarity intended)...

Either way, it's sonic pallette is top nothc and more than diverse enough to please a huge cross-section of the guitar playing population.

I can't wait to really dive into tweaking presets to my own liking, I feel this amp will handle that wonderfully. (It's been my experience that with many other modeling/DSP amps and multi-effect pedals have failed me when it comes to this. Unfortunately, this is especially true when it comes to Line 6 equipment.

(With all due respect, I love Line 6's whole software-based approach to guitar sound reinforcement, and they can put out some sweet tones, but I never was able to create great original sounds with them. Also, most of the gear of theirs I've owned, especially the AX2, is very "weak" sounding. That 100 watt 2x12 combo [I believe] had less "balls" than a good set of computer speakers...)

Reliability : No Opinion
Can't really rate my Taboo Twin on reliability, I've only had it a week.

(OK, no problems yet, but that would be just sad if it were any different...)

Customer Support : 4
Again, I understand that I purchased a discontinued model, but the lack of available and beneficial information available through Rocktron is quite sad.

They offer an online patch repository, which would be wonderful - if it was compatable with Mac. (Come on, Rocktron, get with the program, and provide better support the Mac, seeing as many musicians are aligned with Mac versus PC.)

They do have an online .pdf copy of the manual. That was nice to get a hold of and put in my little binder of various manuals.

However, I could not find any FAQ-type support, nor any user forum, which I would really have liked to assist when it comes to tweaking the settings and incorporating a MIDI pedal for foot control. (If anyone knows of a user forum dedicated to this amp, I would greatly appreciate any sort of shout of with that info...)

Overall Rating : 8
It's a GREAT sounding, versatile amp. It's definitely 'tweakable'. (It's definitely in the same league as the best amplifier I have ever owned, the original Fender Cyber Twin.)

However, it does have some shortcoming, most noteable are Rocktron's available online support including online reference material, and the amp's inability to be played 'out of the box' at 3:30AM when living in an apartment.

If you are looking to get an amp, if you have the oportunity, the Taboo Twin is DEFINITELY something you should check out. At it's fullest extent, it's not a 'newbie' type of amp, so be prepared to put in the time to learn the amp. I would buy this amp again. I wish it has a few other features and characteristics, but that ain't happening wih it being a discontinued model.

I bought my Roctron Twin Taboo in 1998, at the time it was one year old. I feel like I got a good price on it, $400.00 for the amp and 150.00 for the foot control. I can only speak for myself and I don't claim to be a whiz in the amp world. This Twin Taboo does anything I want it too except play my guitar. I use a Fender American Strat and the two together will blow the windows out of your home. There are a 129 pre amp settings and I doubt if I will ever use all of them. I have played this amp in clubs, at banquest halls, union halls, etc, and never had to worry about being heard. This amp has more than enough power.

Sound Quality : 10
This amp has a great distortion, which includes flange, high gain, chorus, delay, reverb, phaser, I think that is all of them. My guitar is the American Fender HH Strat which has two humbuckler pickups. Depending on what sound I want is where I place the switch on using the pickups. There is a very clean sound with no noise in the back ground and the reverb is second to none. Great for playing your early 60's music. Not only that, this has enough deep distortion to make any metal player happy. You have to learn the knobs (which isn't easy), I don't think I will ever learn all that this amp offers. I strongly earge anyone who get's this amp to also spend a little more and get the foot board. It is too hard to turn around and adjust the pre amp knob. With the food board you can switch from clean to distored by just using your foot. They sold for $1699.00 when they first came out. Now your luck if you get $300.00 on a trade. In other words, shop around and don't pay an arm and a leg. Why they have gone down in price I will never know, I believe at some point in time they will be worth more money.

Reliability : 10
I have used the amp for 6 years and never had a problem. Knock on wood!

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had any dealings with customer support.

I have been playing for over 40 years. I have a Crate 120, a Fender Telecaster in addition to my Strat. An American Epihphone Les Paul, Kustom PA system, and a butt kicking warm up amp called a Roland Micro Cube. The things I love about this amp is a parodox. It is a love/hate relationship. You have to love it because it does so much. On the other hand. You have to hate it because it does so much you need a college class to understand it all. Nevertheless, I am happy with the amp and would buy it again. If I couldn't find this one then I would go to a Fender. The Crate I have makes too much of a hissing sound.

This amp was purchased to basically be able to GET CLOSE to what I would want if money were no object. That would be a Rack with a Soldano preamp for distorted sounds & a Matchless or Bad Cat for clean pristine sounds plus an Eventide or TC ELectronics for effects coupled with a VHT power amp. Seeing I don't have $10K to spend I figured if I could APPROXIMATE I would be alright. This amp has many really USABLE features. First off basically it has an Intellifex built in for effects. I called Rocktron & asked them if they had any plans for coming out with a combo version of the Voodu Valve. They said it was the Taboo Twin. I said no I"m looking for the VOODU Valve in combo form They said THIS IS IT!! So I started to look around. Well they were already discontinued. I had to REALLY look. I also tried out the Axsys & the Johnson Millenium & the POD's. THe Axsys was no even close. The Johnson was ok but lacked punch. WHen I plugged into the Rocktron within the first 30 seconds I KNEW this was IT. I did a quick scroll through the different settings & decided to by it. I purchased it used at Guitar Resurrection in Austin. They sold it to me for $800. Pretty lame considering I'd seen it around for as low as $250. But I DO NOT regret buying it. It has reverb, pitch shifting, phasing, compression, tremelo, chorus, flanging & delay. It also comes with a HUSH & a variac simulation which is really handy if you're into the old 80's style rock. You can use the effects very "simple" by simply choosing a setting or pressing the button for the effect OR you can get REALLY REALLY deep into the parameters of the effects. Now what surpised me is that I'm not very much into too many buttons but even I was able to understand how to use it. Very user friendly.
It has a tube in the pramp amp & a solid state power amp. What I REALLY like about it & I haven' heard many use is the direct XLR for a pa. I first heard Gary Hoey used that with the Chameleon while on tour. He was blown away. Well, the Chameleon is totally solid state so I figured this would sound better. I tried it live first at an outdoor gig. The guy running sound said on because the direct feeds sound crappy. I told him THIS amp shouldn't so he consented. It sounded GREAT! After the show the guy actually came over to me & complimented me on my amp & sound. He was VERY impressed & said he had NEVER had an amp run direct that sounded good. This feature to me is very important. It has a total of 128 stored presets. I basically took some of the programmed presets THEN I went in and modded them to my specs. I had 2 different guitarist who are also pro's help me to nail my tones as they were more knowledgeable in terms of digging "deep" into the parameters & they have a great set of ears. One guy helped me with all the clean sounds. I had programmed the dirties & he felt they were fine & needed no change. THen he helped me with the cleans.
I play in a variety band so I have to HAVE versatility. I play pop, Latin, rock, & country so I need it to be able to do whatever sounds are in the songs we do. This does it very well.
The wattage is sufficient like I said due to the XLR's it's not a problem. I use an ART X-15 pedalboard to control it as I could not afford at the time the Rocktron Bradshaw controller. Perhaps soon. It is closed back though it can be removed if you like. I have chosen to keep it closed. It has 2 Eminence speakers & handles on the side which are GREAT. It also comes with casters already. Bottom line the DESIGN of it in terms of the exterior is it was made for GIGGING. The combination of casters, side handles & XLR's make it great. Nuff said.

Sound Quality : 10
I have two guitar a Kramer Baretta circa 86 or 87 with a maple neck & a custom wound Tom Holmes humbucker & a BC RICH circa 87-88 with strat shape, single humbucker & neck single coil also with a maple neck & a Duncan JB (soon to be replaced with either another Holmes or a Fralin Humbucker) & a Dimarzio single of some sort which I'm not sure but sounds good in the neck.
It is absolutely SILENT due to the HUSH. NO hiss whatsoever. When we had another guitarist he had a 5150 combo which was NOISY he had to run out & buy a HUSH (also made by Rocktron). Since I have to play everything from Van Halen, Shakira, Dixie Whores, Mana, Cars, Billy Idol, Motels...in other words just about everything I have to have versatility. Like I said I do not have the $$ right now to buy a rack ala Mike Landau or Steve Lukather or other studio cats I had to APPROXIMATE & that it does VERY WELL. SO far I have NOT met anyone who has not liked this amp.
As for my sounds I have one mild distortion ala Vox type for a Bryan Adams type sound. We used the sound from Summer of 69 to emulate & we nailed it. Then I have a Santana like Boogie sound which is REALLY good. I have the Eruption Van Halen sound with the phaser. I use that a lot for 80's style solos including pop songs like "Only the Lonely" by the Motels. For that type of pop it works great (& you thought it was only good for metal!). Then I have an 80's studio sound. For this I basically used Lynch's Under Lock & Key for nailing the sound. We added a very subtle chorus & delay. We jacked up the gain on the preset called "Deep Inside". If you hear my sound compared to the ORIGINAL "Deep Inside" setting you will freak!!! This is testament to the versatility & depth allowed by the parameter setting on this amp. It sound glorious!!! Ear candy. Like a Soldano running through an Eventide Harmonizer or a TC ELEctronics 2290. Very nice. Very Lukatherish or like Dan Huff's sound though we started with Lynch's sound. I mean I wanted MY sound. I'm very happy. Start at one point then because of the depth available you get inspired to try different things. Then it has another distorted sound to round it out.
For my clean sounds I have a typical 80's chorus, one with a phaser, one for country, one very nice clean with mild chorus for a Landau type of setting, & one with a tremelo for THAT sound. Very nice. Occasionally I will venture beyond my presets for a song or 2 or for ideas. It has a very nice Brian May settings that are cool if you are into Brian May. The variac is great. The distorion runs the gamut as previously stated. You can even choose the type of preamp to emulate a Class A or Class B . Very nice!!! If you're into nice clean tones you can go for the A settings & mess with them. This is great for me as for my clean sounds I would opt for a Bad Cat or a Matchless. Those are the sounds I like to hear so I dig in & go for what I like. Basically if you can't come up with a sound you haven't tried or you are just a dumb kid who scrolls & doesn't mess with the presets at all. They are STARTING points for you to delve into & mine for ore.
Some of the metal distortions are brutal!!! If you are into metal there are some serious tones ala Megadeth or Metallica. Nice scooped midranges etc.
For pop settings they are hear to your hearts content.
I have toured in 2 countries (US & Mexico) & have been very happy with the sounds night after night with this amp. As a professional who had never been out on the road before (at 35 I was running out of time!!!) & did not have like I stated a Landau or Lukather type rack THIS tank came through with flying colors. I never felt unconfortable on stage with this amp. After numerous gigs I am happy.
I also used it in the studio or a single we recorded. Very well for that. The engineer in the studio LOVED my 80's studio sound & complimented me on it.
One thing

Reliability : 9
The reliability is incredible. This beauty is built like a tank. Very roadworthy. Having toured & used it for countless gigs I can vouche for it. Certain things that set it apart are no brainers. For example. The side mount handles. You see a 5150 & it has ONE handle on the TOP?! I mean ever tried to carry a5150 like that?! This you grab one side & your roadie grabs the other & you are set. The casters as well. My only complain is one caster keeps falling one & I have to put it back in. It has a really mean looking grill on the front. BAD!!!! It looks like something from a Mad Max movie or something like that. Very intimidating look to it. Heavy duty. built practically & for touring/giggin. I wish other amp manufacturers would use some of these features for their construction. It has NEVER failed me. I have not had any problems with it whatsover. If I go on tour again I will take it with me...unless I have my dream rack.
Reliability this amp is a moot point. It is THE MOST reliable & USEFUL amp due to common sense. It appears that PERHAPS REAL MUSICIANS gave input into the making of this amp?! Because of the caster that keeps popping out I will hesitate to give it a 10. It rates a SOLID 9.

Customer Support : 10
I have written Rocktron several times & they are very promp in responding. NEver had any trouble dealing with them. Perhaps if I go on the road again they will endorse me?! I would love that!!! Maybe I could run a Voodu Valve through a VHT power amp or perhaps they'll give me one of their Egnators...well we can dream right? NEVER once had to replace anything on this amp. Never had to.

Overall Rating : 10
Over all I would say it warrants a 9+. I love pretty much everything about it. If only it had a tube power amp though. The effects are top notch & the contstruciton is SECOND TO NONE. Like I said if other manufacturers would apply the principle of the side handles & casters it would make life for us musicians better. Like I said comparing it to the Millenium by Johnson or the Axsys is NOT fair. It's like comparing your'e high school football team to a playoof caliber NFL team. REALLY unfair. Unless someone like TC Electronics or Eventide come out with a modeling amp I don't think anyone will beat Rocktron at THIS game. I am convinced of this. I DID shop & compare & read many reviews of this AND the other amps as well.
I have been playing for 20+ years & am a PROFESSIONAL musician not a part timer. I have toured & recorded in the studio & done numerous gigs with a variety band as well as the Latino artis I worked with.
I love the versatility of this amp. It enables me to get the sounds I sought from my dream rack. If it were stolen I would try to find another to buy.
One more thing unless you are a pro where you can tell the difference between a solid state amp & a tube tone ; a REAL single coil from a stacked single coil ; a humbucker with 8.5 output to 10K output...well you get the picture unless you are a real bona fide pro with a GREAT ear you will not be able to tell the difference. You're average Joe Blow in the audience cheering you on will NOT know the difference. Unless they are a musician or a sound engineer. Having said that I have received compliments from studio engineers & other musicians. The MOST important is I"m happy with it. It APPROXIMATES the my dream rack to about 97%.
On very satisfied customer.

Features as stated below. Very versatile amp with excellent FX (best non-rack FX i've heard). You have to spend some time getting into the EQ and FX parameters on the Taboo, but it's worth it. Don't judge by the presets cuz those are just starting points. Unbelievable control is ready and waiting.

Sound Quality : 9
Very quiet amp in every setting i've tried. 94 PRS Custom 24, 02 PRS Custom 24, 82 LP Custom, 00 Epi LP with Gibson pups. Mesa V-Twin on clean setting for a warmer tubier tone. I play everything from clean pop to metal. Best sounding hybrid design i've ever encountered. Every sound from pristine clean to heavy metal is awaiting your command. Of course it won't sound as good as a great tube amp...nothing else will. Weakest sound is probably the edge of breakup, but it still does that better than some tube amps i've tried. Plenty of bass and plenty of volume. I've never had the volume more than halfway. Will sound great at lower volumes. Changing volume does not seem to change the tone. Never tried it open back but agree that it would probably suit high volume needs.

Reliability : No Opinion
Preset selector knob sometimes skips around some numbers, especially if turning it fast. Other than that, never had any problem. Yep, built like a tank.

Bought over the web in early 2000 and got a good deal. Fell in love with guitar in mid 70s. My new main rig now is a POD thru a Mesa 20/20 into Behringer 4x12 stereo cab. Soon i'll run the Taboo thru the Mesa, betting it'll sound awesome. Also have a Fender Blues Deluxe (see my review) and a Fender 30 on the way that i plan to do blackface mod on. However, i won't sell the Taboo. If nothing else, it will be my practice amp. The Taboo sounds MUCH better than Johnson or Line6, although i haven't tried Line6's top of the line. I compared it to a Fender Cyber-Twin, at home, and still preferred the Taboo although i have to admit i didn't get to delve into tweaking the Fender, (I HAVE to believe the Cyber-Twin can sound better than what i heard). The Taboo seems to be hard to find and going up in price. I highly recommend this amp to anyone not requiring utter simplicity or all tube response.

I had originally bought this amp in '99, just when it was discontinued
but really liked the different sounds w/ the 129 presets. I paid a little less than full price back then at sam ash. However, when i brought it to band practice, people would complain about the sound...it indescribable, but essentially, it wasn't a nice defined sound, it was muddy, and the other guitarist was getting a much better sound than I, with a little crate tube amp. I was very disappointed, obviously, after having spent mucho bucks, and all I got were complaints, and when it was time to solo, it was awful, and loud. I went to guitar ctr, and tried their line 6's, and felt that's what I should have gotten. However, after I read the second posting on this website, the anonymous author suggested removing the rear panel for better definition of sounds.....it works! I now get a better sound than the line 6. Additionally, I am a Hendrix afficionado
and am experimenting w/ the pre and post eq's ..I feel that I can now emulate his marshall sound! Anyone else have the same probs, and suggestions on further tweaking? I want a) a henrix sond, or b) a santana sound

no particular comment... there are just too many features, what ever happened to straight forward, user friendly controlls that are intuitive. I am a guitarist, not a computer geek. I dont want to scroll through menus and worry about input and output levels on a thousand differant peramaters. This is'nt feasable when one has a problem and a one half minute sound check. Why does'nt anyone get it. I know so many pros who are totally dissilusioned by this overly complexified techno geek approach. There are more contracted pros using old marshall jcm 800's that have been thouroughly gone through and cleaned up because the tone is clean and organic. There is no replacement for the real thing. Using a digital or modeling amp is like humping a blow up doll... it's not the real thing!!! Face it you damned geeks.. processors will never replace tubes and pure point to point wiring. Wake up you fools and quit being bought like cheap whores by high dollar advertising budgets. You easily led automotons all make me want to wretch with vomitous compultions.

terrible, totally synthetic and wretched. electronic whizmogadgets like this geekmachine will never replace a twin, a jcm800, a mesa mark III or and other great tube amp.

I have been playing for 20 years and I am OLD SCHOOL!!! the "versatility" of new digital equipment looks impresive on paper but it just does'nt sound real because it is'nt. No advertising mogul can convince me of this either, it just is'nt factual. Why do some of the greatest players in the world use vintage gear??? for instance malmsteen uses old marshall mark II's with the right stuff in front of them to get his sound. I have been able to get just about any sound I need from death metal to surf with a 65 fender bassman. For metal I use a tube overdrive in front (tubeworks...great stuff, affordable, no bullshit, no outrageous claims about being able to emulate anything from a donkey giving birth to a marshall plexi.). I also played surf professionally for a perioud of time in which I toured all over northern CA and to get my sound nailed I used either a fender reverb unit or an old analog tremolo unit. I'm rambling here and I know it and I'm in a hurry and I probably misspelled everything and people probably think that I'm stupid because my opinion is the only dissenting one that I have found on this page... but it is my opinion and I stand by it. Wake up America, you are being sold snake oil by the same type of swine who peddeled their wares on covered wagons over one hundred years ago. It's that same line of crap about a device or substance that can do everything and do it all as good or better than the classics, the greats, the legends... I suppose next one of you people are going to tell me that you put together one of those lamborghini "kit cars" with a volkswagen engine and its better than the real thing blah blah blah

TO CUT THROUGH THE CHASE, WE ALL LOOK FOR THAT HOLY GRAIL OF AMPLIFIERS AND UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD A COLLECTION OF FINE TUBE
AMPS, YOUR LIKE THE REST OF US...TRYING TO FIND ONE AMP THAT DOES
IT ALL. VERSITLITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. THIS AMP HAS A SECRET
TO IT. FIRST OFF REMOVE THE BACK IT STILL RETAINS THE PUNCH YOU
WANT, IT WILL INCREASE SPEAKER MOVEMENT RESULTING IN MUCH BETTER
NOTE DEFINITION AND YOU'LL GET RID OF THAT MIDRANGE/NASAL/STERIL SOUND
NEXT IS TO TAKE SOME TIME AND LEARN ABOUT PARAMETRIC EQ. IT'S EASY
TO GET FRUSTRATED WITH THE PRE & POST EQ ADJUSTMENTS, HOWEVER IF
YOU'LL BE PATIENT AND EXPERIMENT, ALMOST ANY SOUND IS POSSIBLE.
I'VE HAD MINE FOR (3) YEARS AND HAVE SIDE BY SIDE COMPARED THEM
WITH TWINS, PLEXIS, AC-30S, BOOGIES, ECT.. NOTHING WILL GET EXACTLY
THE SAME TONES BUT IT WILL GET AMAZINGLY CLOSE. IT SEEMS THE LOUDER
THAT YOU CRANK THESE AMPS, YOU HAVE TO DIP THE MIDRANGE A LITTLE.
THESE AMPS ARE IN FACT VERY VERSITLE AND WITH SOME TWEAKING YOU
CAN GET SOME REALLY GOOD TONES.

I have had my Taboo Twin for about 3 years now and I can honestly say the amp is more than I will ever need. It has 129 presets, with a wide range of sounds. I have used it to play blues, rock and a little county and bluegrass. I play a G&L ASAT and a Ovation Elite through it. It has a great clean and distortion channel. I wished the wah wah channel was a little more intense though. I wished it had to input jacks. As I told you this is more amp than I will ever need, but as I say better to have and not need than to need and not have.I also like the exterior. To me it seems to be solid and able to take some licks. I think the only thing I have a beef about this amp is that the foot pedel in my opinion should have come with it!!!!!!

The sounds are great and I don't to fool with a bunch of different pedals. I just turn the dial and jam!! I haven't got into making my own sounds, I am still working on the ones that come from the factory.
129 different sounds. The amp is very versatile.

Great amp! However I don't think they make it any more. I would look at Rocktron and the other models if something were to happen to mine. I believe this is my last amp. I have played Fender Twin which I like and a Crate G-60 which are good amps but to me the Taboo Twin is the ultimate modeling amp. I want restate what I have already stated above. I also have to say that the salesman was a big player also in buying this amp we looked at line 6 and Johnson amps and he demonstated how much easier the Taboo Twin was to operate. I still think it was alittle high price wise, but I believe I got more than I anticipated.

This is a suppliment to my previous review.
What a dissapointment.
Turn it up to stage/rehearsal volumes and it
flubs out like an open back.
Tried replacing the cheap eminence drivers
with v30's, no help, this is the preamp and output sections dilemma.
Maintains no low end, moves little air, even with a BBE in the loop,
it can't handle the low end, just a fizzy mess.
Sold it, got a Line 6 Flextone HD II.
Hopefully it will hold up.
Stay away from the Taboo Twin.
