It has every sound you could want. Each channel has a bright switch, and each 2 channel grouping has separate EQ and a voicing switch (changes between modern and vintage (mid cut))
Channel one is dirty clean......very clean if you turn the master up and the gain down.
Channel two-From gorgeous to brutal, minus palm mutes.
Channel three- Great tones, slighty distorted or Tool heavy. Let's just say it can make a single coil grind.
Channel four-has more gain then three but less low end
What I found weird was the clean channel has the most bass response, then 2, then 3, then 4 with the least.....what they were thinking, I don't know? Open back, vintage 30's?
It's slightly geared towards the 80's, but I find it to be more boutique, then anything.

I'm using humbuckers and single coils, so I can say it works well with both. I really don't have anything bad to say. It's powerful, easy to use......wait I got one....It weighs as much as a country boy showing up for the sausage eating contest.....fucking HEAVY! Maybe the cool expanded metal added some weight....or the enormous amount of tubes.
It's good, get one.

It's great. It's like having a $2000 amp for $800. I've gone through at least 5 amps(peavey classic 50, ampeg reveb-o-rocket, crate classic 50, fender m-80 head, into a laney cab) All cheap, and all sounded like it.
I wish I had a noise gate for it, I don't like going back to the 1st channel just so I can let go of the damn guitar.
