Based on a Princeton kit, Fender clone. Volume. Tone. Three way "voicing" switch. On/off switch. Weber Sig10A 10" Signature speaker, dovetailed pine cabinet. Dead simple.

Eric Johnson Strat > Fulltone OCD > Demeter Tremulator > Ernie Ball Volume Pedal > T-Rex Replica Delay.
For a clean, low watt practice amp, my Ed Rose is perfect. It's quiet as a mouse (well isolated from RF). It's a very simple amplifier based on a Fender Princeton design (kit). Clean Fenderish low-watt sounds, early break up into crude distortion, as would be expected at 7 or higher.
This is one of Ed's first handbuilt amps. It's based on a Fender Princeton kit with some of Ed's mods. I bought it on eBay for about $400.
I love it. It's hand-wired. It sounds so clean and pretty at low volumes and it seems to handle the OCD very well. Anything past 7 gets yields crude, crunchy tube distortion. I'm not much of a distortion guy so for a clean practice amp it suits me very well.

Never had any issues at all with this amp. Built like a tank. It could use a handle (it's just a pine box with controls on top. Location of power tube is pretty much where I pick it up to carry it (not good). Also, the power cord is too close to the power tube and I have to be careful not to let it lie against the tube.
Minor design complaints. This thing is beautifully, lovingly wired. I expect it to be playing and sounding good long after I'm gone.

Love it. I own a ton of gear, mostly low watt tube amps, Class A. Guitars are all single coil Fender type designs.
Ed's a great guy. I'm a proud owner.
