Serial # is 950901198, don't know when it was made but Purchased on EBay a while back for around $25.00 and is in great condition. The original Owner replaced the speaker with a Huge PYLE DRIVER Pro with Massive Magnet (6-7 lbs) /Voice Coil and this makes all the difference between what it was (I assume) and what it is now. With Volume Control, Gain Control and Master Volume with switch button for Clean/Overdrive - this is built just like all the other Made in Asia 8" Combo Amps you see for 40 - 120 used to new with a Treble/Mid/Bass EQ. So it's no different from the Peavey, Ibanez, Marshall, Practice Amps. Probably made from the same source as well.

I have six Fender MUTT Strats of various pedigrees - Maple/Rosewood/Maple Necks, Heavy to light Bodies, from Relic to Mint, USA, Mexico to MIJ Vintage 3/4 Bullet Squire, all with various degrees of great to ok pickups, late 60's Gibson LP Goldtop, Rhode Island Guild Starfire 4, Ibanez Jazz Box, ESP LTD SG, playing everything from Blues, Jazz, Rock, etc. and this AMP with the Speaker sounds Loud, Clear with full Body and Warmth. It's gotta be that Pyle Driver, I've got too many other Combo's of that same ilk that sound the same but the Speaker really does it for me. So much so that I'm shopping EBay for replacement speakers (Jensen, Weber, etc.) to put into my crap amps. Oh Ya, have a Vintage Mitchell Pro 100 Combo (Mesa copy) from the 80's..

This stays in the house, although I'd bring it rather than any of the good stuff to a Club/Jam Session because of the loudness and clarity and distortion, I can put a few boxes in front of the signal and pretty much cut through the mix without any issues and get the tone/sound I need to have fun. Built well, the previous owner did a great install so this gets thrown in the back seat and will last forever. No Noise, controls, everything seems well put together compared to the older Peaveys, Crates, Ibanez stuff I blow through.

If it breaks, I'll sell it on eBay for $10 bucks so I'm not worried. I got a great deal so there's no downside. Never spoke to a Samick Person but I'm sure they would be of absolutely no help.

I'm 53 with a ton of worthless gear, don't believe in paying high prices for vintage stuff and I really resent those who can't play but buy for the personal collection and investment purposes without any real relationship with their gear. I like my stuff relic, beat up or in great condition but I'm not obsessed like all the others. This is my keeper, because it's loud, rude, clear, dirty and the previous owner replaced the knobs and made it really unique. If you find one, buy it, replace the speaker and have a great time blowing out the Line 6 Spider III Combo.

mainly using this with my epi sg400 with maya 1970 original pickup(dug from the trash),also a cheap westfield lefty bass- oh and a cheapy encore electro-acoustic.
In its normal state i would have to agree with the previous review - it sounds awful - with no reverb the clean sound is flat and toneless and the distortion is burtal-ish yes - but tinny as hell really not very good at all,but i use this amp on the clean channel as a pre-amp or put a boss DS-1 pedal before it-- however by itself this item is a peice of crud:) have used the small marshalls and they sound infinatally better as i would guess anything else would too- this amp would really benefit from some sort of basic reverb at least then the clean channel might be usable but then it can clip at high volume

i have had this amp a year and in that time it has fallen down 4 flights of stairs - been thrown out of my bedroom window - then i pulled the guts out and put it in my ex broken amp (zoomfire30 very good) and its still working today and sounds quitre decent in conjunction with my behringer v-amp2 thingy - so yes very reliable i would piss on this thing and it wouldnt die to spite me

no idea this amp is a mere practice amp and a very basic one at that
if it broke i would not buy it again -- but it was cheap and it served a purpose

been playing 3 years , i own a nice quad sirroco crossfire and the aforementioned half dead zoomfire 30 and a behringer vamp2
if it were stolen - i would pity the fool that stole it
i like its ability to get seriously beaten up and still run the same
it would be ..ok if it had reverb and not the default tiny speaker

no idea when it was made. This amp has a clean and an overdrive circuit. It has the basic bass mid treble knobs. That's it.

Used a bunch of guitars vester stage series, cort x6, ibanez gax-70, westone spectrum st, something with jim beam written on it, a peavy of some description it didn't help....
Whatever you play throught it, the sound is unbelievably shit. The clean sound makes every note sound flat and the clean sound is the best thing about it. When you try and add distortion the bass drops out and it sounds like static. The distortion is not brutal, just cruel on the ears. If there was a number below one, this would get it.

Wasn't worth the 50 bucks. Don't buy one, if you get one buy another one really quick. Get a baboon to whole in tune with you, hold your guitar close to the micrpophone make your own amp it will sound better!!! It was really reliable though...
