Date code stamp says 08 86. Assume 1986.
Tiny warm sounding transistor practice amp. 2 inputs,3 controls: volume, tremolo, and tone. Tremolo is nice. One 6" speaker. Closed back.About 4" deep, 11" wide, 14" high. Black tolex.
Excellent for what it is.
Sears model number on the label is:257.14209650.
The label says it requires 0.04 amps at 120 volts. This translates to half a watt input. That would probably be about a quarter watt output or less. The label very honestly states "Electrical usage, not power output". Nice touch.

Warm not cheezy clean tone. Low volume. No treble response to speak of. Good for dorm room. Looks really cheap, so won't get ripped off.
Tremolo is really really nice and cushiony sounding.

My son bought this at a garage sale. Great dorm room practice amp. Does not appear expensive, so it will not be as likely to get legs. Excellent garage sale find. At the price he paid, it is a real bargain. Don't pass it up for $5.
The tremolo is so nice sounding, you could probably also record with it.
