Drive control is inactivated by a toggle switch in back. 15w W/ oversized Hayboer output and power trannys. Bias jacks on backplate. speaker out + extension. Black with white faceplate. Plenty of power for a large venue.

Incredible quality made by the master Doug Sewell in Dallas. Amazing clarity from clean to distorted tones. Very interactive controls that don't change the overall sounds, but add suble harmonics to each of the frequencies. Classic El84 chime, plus amazing 3D sound on chords and single note soloing. I almost bought a Matchless Lightning, but after hearing this, the Matchless sounded thin. I play this with a Celestion Alnico Blue and it is the only speaker for this amp IMHO. I cannot say enough about this amp. It is THE best amp I have ever played. I have owned them all and this amp is so responsive to my playing that it is an extension of me. Cuts through the mix with ease and without overpowering. I have played for 15 years with every amp and guitar known to man. I have used every effect as well. I recently had my pedal board stolen and played a gig with my guitar and a cable. I DID NOT MISS THE PEDALS A BIT. My current setup is an Elliot Easton Gretsch and a 50's Telecaster. Sounds great with singles, HB and P90s.

Hands down would gig without a backup and did it last night. Top quality components. Will last a lifetime with normal maintenence.

Reliability and customer service is Doug's middle name. This is my second Sewell amp ( the first is a Texaverb 15, 6V6 tone monster!!)and Doug will fine tune the amp to your taste on the fly and is very proud of his creations. He painstakenly hand wires each on his babies and is not happy until you are happy. Great guy, great product, great service, great price!!! Lifetime warranty.
