2005 Texaverb 50 watt, 2X12 combo. Single channel with variable boost footswitch, reverb, bright switch, master volume and cathode or fixed bias, bias ports on back. Cream vinyl with flamed maple insert on front (very sharp looking amp!). Two 12" Jensen Neo Speakers. No effects loop. Overall this amps has great features for the blues player or basic rock and roll.

I play a 57 Gold Top Lp, CS - 336, Eric Clapton Strat and Fender Nocaster into the amp with no effects and the sound is big, round and warm! The amp has a huge jazz sound and the volume is just perfect for playing with a band. This amp has what I call a "live sound" to it that just begs you to push it to edge of distorion. The blues sound is very BB King like on single note solo's. For overall tone this is the best amp I've ever owned. The reverb isn't springy like some fenders, it is very lush and deep and sits to the back of the sound and allows you to get a nice distortion even with the reverb on. The amp is totally quiet when I'm not playing.

Just got the amp this week so I will have to get back in 6 months with a update. I do own a Sewell Texaplex and have never had a problem with that amp.

Doug Sewell is easy to get ahold of and backs up his products completely. Probably the best support of any the amp makers out there. He answers my e-mail within hours usually. Also if you call Doug and tell him what kind of sounds your looking for in the amp he will voice the circuit for you.

I've been playing for 20+ years and have had one of every amp ever made and I have found the sound that I'm looking for with the Sewell amps. If lost or stolen I would order another the next day. If you get a chance to try one of these amps out I suggest you jump at it!
