this is a custom snakesskin covered model with K66 tubes.Absolutely beautiful amp.features and most of all tone are the reasons l bought this amp.Chris has obviously put his heart into this amp,as quality and innovation are evident throughout.I love the fact that l can bias my own tubes(via an ingeneous set up requiring only an everyday readily available voltmeter)it is really easy, saves you time and money when replacing tubes, and best of all allows you to play with the settings! Also Chris has invented amaster volume control that when turned all the way up becomes a true bypass.(just like you're playing an old non master Marshall)Also tube buffered FX loop and tube reverb no switchable channels but for Gods sake isn't that what all those pedals are for?

Sound Quality : 10
l use a hammer artist, hamer standard, mcinturff royal and an american stat with it.Short and sweet You can't make this amp sound bad!!! Clean, distorted, brown sound etc. It literaly oozes tone.I have owned Marshalls of all sizes shapes and vintages, also a hughes and kettner triamp,ampeg,5150,fender,and Crate tube amps. This amp is CLEARLY in another class. When l was ordering the amp there was a choice of tube compliments,l chose Mullard Kt66 NOS tubes.l had told chris how l've always loved the sound of non-master marshalls and also Hiwatts.l was also hoping for some beautiful clean bloom ala'Fender and l'm totally satisfied! Also there is enough gain on tap for all except Numetal, but you know for me Basis of tone is the thing and l can tell you that setting this amp up clean and then putting a MXR double shot distrtion pedal(which gets as scooped and nasty as you want)in front sounds AWESOME so what's left?

Reliability : 10
had it for a year now the only problem was the pilot light going out.Chris sent me the parts and offered to pay for the repairs so l wouldn't have to send it all the way back to Calif. from Pa. Also good over the phone analysis since he thought it may be a diode or some such thing he sent the part and a new jewel light which l did'nt even need and a good friend fixed it for nothing.

Customer Support : 10
l really put Chris' patience to the test,l ask for a few special things chnged my mind once or twice and he was awesome.Answered every e-mail promptly, was very kind.l can't lmagine getting better support than you will here.

Overall Rating : 10
l've been playing 22 years this is the best amp l've ever played or heard period!l would definitely replace it if the need arose.I did want to say before tha with this amp, a Boss ch1 chorus pedal and a Boss sd1 overdrive l have every sound from mello to vicious, all in a great 3-d sound,My search is over and l HIGHLY recommend this amp Also forgot to say it's 38 watts with 2 awesome Tone tubbies (1ceramic and 1alnico) Great combo!
