Features : 6
This amp is really old, leather handle - its not made of composite board like the DanElectro makes. its wood and plywood & it has a tapered shape, larger at the bottom. Some doofus painted it black and ruined the originality of the finish. Anybody know who else made early, early Silvertones?? It has 6L6s I think, I will double check later. Features are bare-bone - three inputs all channeled the same place, two instrument, one mic (maybe a little hotter). All the knobs were missing. it has a Tone control and the red indicator lamp doesnt work.

Sound Quality : 7
I played a Telecaster through it, would probably have more umph with some hotter pickups/humbucks. Sounds good, big speaker for the cab size. only about 3-5w though, basically clean with a little grit at full gain. Decent Practice amp.

Reliability : 8
I bought it used at the flea market for $5. It worked when I got it home and really did not expect it to from the looks of it. After 40 yrs and still ticking Id say its pretty reliable.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Id say support doesnt exist for this.

Overall Rating : 7
This amp is mostly likely older than me and im in my early 40's. I think it may be one of the first Silvertones from Sears - (it has a Sears & Robucks badge) but not sure. I have been looking on the Web, eBay, etc and havent seen or heard of another one like it, I was hoping someone would know more. I think its a fairly rare amp, but???
