Features? What features? This is a 1 x 6" combo, on/off toggle, fuse holder and a volume knob - not even an on/off light! 12AU6, 50C5, 35W4 tube line-up. Cabinet (compressed paper! not even wood) covered in brown tolex with a copper speckle in it. Nice wheat colored grill cloth. All original. I'm guessing that this is late 50s or early 60s.

So far I've only played this with my trusty MIJ Strat, I'd be reluctant to hit that speaker with humbuckers! OK, joking apart, this thing sounds great. It puts out maybe 2-3 watts, so I just play it with the volume all the way up and use my guitar piukcups and controls for tone adjustments and to clean the sound up. The amp breaks up nicely and with a lot of bottom end for a 6" speaker. It soudns as good as any small Alamo, Fender, Masco, or Supro I've owned although it's made to much lower standard than any of these other amps.

It's relatively noisy and it crackles and sputters until it's warmed up (I have new NOS tubes on the way). I took it to me amp tech who just laughed! Don't think I'll be playing any stadiums with this one...

Silvertone amp sold thru Sears Roebuck Catalog - hmm, don't think Sears would be much help on this one.

This thing is so cheaply made that it should sound like crap. However, it doesn't! I love small amps and this is a good one. The styling is very cool and it sounds good. I hate when bozos give a "10" rating but this little guy gets a "10" for value and being so cool!
