AP stands for all purpose I think, TS for transistor and it says Trisound because there is a switch to select PA, Guitar or bass. 4 channal inputs and a sustain with input for a footswitch. No reverb, that is a pitty. Perfect too use it for a back up for your garage band! 100 Watts I suppose. At the back one of those Marshall type 70's terrible Impedance selectors, which allways fall out. 2 speaker inputs, + 2 speaker slave inputs and an AUX O/P whatever that means. a volume for each input and a master Bass, treble and volume. I give it a 9, as it has not got a reverb. One of the first seventies transistor amps.

Both my Strar and Les Paul sound very nice, but I am not an excellent player and by far a music professional. It is not noisy at all, clean sound, the sustain sounds like it is clean and distorted mixed. Maybe it is broken or it has to sound like that, but, in any case it is a different sound. Very powerfull. I give it an eight, as although limited controls I like the sound very very much. Gives a nice clean sound.

I just got it, but it is a tank, impossible to break down.

You cannot find anything about this trisound . But what can you expect. You are looking for something unique and maybe valuable, so that is part of the hobby. If anybody can help me with a manual, wiring diagram or just tell me about how the sustain should sound, (Maybe something is broken) what the AUX O/P input means, or what the slave is for and what the wattage should be of the to be connected speakers let me know at wynbelt@hotmail.com
I give this a 8 as this customer support question does really not apply for unique rare amps.

Simms Watts is good quality, sound and you have a lot of fun with it. I think this is a rarew model and I use it for everthin, nice to expercience with, a back up for my little band I am playing in, plenty power. I have a Marshall super bass, Peavey 30 watt hybride classic VT and a Fender PA100. They are all different, but I like to play with this specific sound. I also try it out with 10, 12 and 16 inch speakers and play the bass over it + use it as PA. This is my best buy. And, if any one knows more about this little head, please send me info!
