I bought this cab used. It is an older model w/V30's so it was apparently made before they started using Eminence. It's a mono 16 ohm cab with only one jack. The speakers are front loaded and it doesn't have a removable back panel. If you look inside there'e no support going from the front to back of the cab as a lot of cabs use (and rattles in some cases). Instead there are 4 pieces approx. 6x6x2 attaching the back of the cab to each side and the top and bottom halfway accross. Hard to explain, but it seems to work really well.

I am using this cab with my Yamaha T100. I also tried it with my 3-chan Dual Recto. My main guitar is a Godin LGX. I play mainly rock. somewhere between Switchfoot and Pillar. This is a phenomanal sounding cab. The tone controls on my amp can be set anywhere without any problems. Dial the bass to 10 on my DR and the cab handles it. The tone is extemely bassy, but the cab doesn't make any mysterious rattling noises. On the other end you can dial the treble and presence to 10 and it cuts and has some harshness, but not like some other V30 cabs I've tried. Overall it seems to have more life than my friends Recto cab. It's in the same vain, but has more vibe IMHO.

Reliability : 10
The cab seems to be in really great shape and is probably at least 5 if not 10+ years old. I'm not sure how previous owners have treated it, but it looks like it will last me a lifetime.

Never dealt with Soldano directly but I have heard good things. So I'll leave this blank.

I haven't owned this very long, but so far it's one of the best sounded pieces of gear I've purchased. I've been playing for about 15 years now and gigging for the last 5 or so. I'm still on a quest for my sound(s) and have tried out lots of gear, but so far Soldano seems to have the same idea I have of what rock guitar should sound like. One of these days I'll get an Avenger head to replace the T100 and should be one happy camper. I would also love to try the new cabs with the Eminence speakers. I hear they sound as good if not better. If it was stolen I would do my best to track it down, but would definately replace it with another Soldano cab w/o hesitation.

This cab is definately light for a 4x12. Extremely good construction with heavy duty metal handels. It is made of Marine grade birch I believe. The Tolex is black. I had to add casters for long distance traveling. You can remove the front grill cloth which is conected to the cab with velcro by a small kind of tab. Overall basic but great.

Wow, this cabinet is amazing. I recently purchased an Avatar speaker cab containing 1 Celestion G12H30 and a Vintage 30 and the Soldano cab still beats it. I figured that the Avatar cab would sound better because it has Celestions, but I was wrong. The Soldano speakers in this cab are great. It's great for distortion and clean and makes any head sound good. It basically lets the amp's true sound shine through. I can't say enough about it. I have owned the cab for 3 years and it still sounds amazing.

Reliability : 10
I would not ever worry about this cab. It is totally reliable. That's all there is to it.

I emailed Soldano once about something unrelated to this cab and Mike Soldano himself responed the next day. Sounds pretty good wouldn't you say?

Well, I bought this cab with my Soldano Atomic 16 head. It's great when you can own something for 3 years+ and still be ultra satisfied with it. This cab makes playing a joy. I have been playing for around 7 years. I am studying Music industry right now at App state and have been studying classical guitar seriously for 5 years.I have also been playing drums for 5 years and bass for 3. I own A 94' Gibson Les Paul Studio, a 70's Gibson L6, a G&L ASAT Classic 3 (limited to 100), a cheap Strat, a 70's Aria Pro 2 bass, a early 90's Takamini Sante Fe, a 98' Dauphine all solid classical, and I am about to invest in a Carvin DS727 7 string. As far as amps, I have my Soldano Atomic 16 head and Soldano cab, an Avatar 2x12 cab, a Marshall JTM 30 combo, and a Fender Prenceton Chorus combo. This cab beats any other cab I have tried. I would buy one again if I could ever find one used, but Soldano stuff is hard to find used. These cabs are like 800 new in Musicians Friend which is expensive, but if you want a great cab, you have to shell out the bucks. I'm just glad I got mine for such a good deal.

-A super-light 4X12 16ohm (at least thats what it says on the jack) cab. I'd say the thing weighs about 55 lbs, much lighter than any cab I've lifted. My head (Rivera K-100) weighs almost as much as it! I think the wood is called Navy Birchwood or something, it's wood which is lightweight with incredible strength.

-Contains 4 Soldano SLO2000 speakers (approx. name) which I think handle about 75 watts each.

-There are cloth tabs sticking out of the front that when pulled, remove the grille, which is affixed via velcro, allowing access to the speakers. Pretty handy.

- No casters though, the first day I got it, I screwed some on.

I am using this cab with a Rivera Knucklehead K-100 and a PRS CE24.
It has taken alot of tweaking and perfecting to get this cab sounding just the way I like it. The one problem I have is it extremely BASSY!! I keep my bass knob at about 2, any more and it gets pretty muddy. This can be attributed to the pickups on the PRS which are pretty bassy themselves as well as the amp. However, the definition of the SLO speakers is outstanding. Very alive and responsive.
I've rarely put my head over 6 or 7 because I don't need any lawsuits on my hands but the cab takes what the Rivera can dish out, which is an awful lot.

Reliability : 10
I've had it for 4 years now, occasional gigging, lots of use as well as long-term storage and it is working perfectly. There are metal protectors on the bottom corners which keep it in tact. I am yet to have any problems with this cab.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I wouldn't know, never tried to contact them. Bought it used.

Overall Rating : 9
Despite its over-the-top bassiness, if controlled properly with some sort of EQ, the cab is worthy of the Soldano reputation. The weight is a big plus for me and the thing sounds like it should weight double what it does.

Would I pay the shelf price of $750 for this cab, maybe. But for the price I got it for, it can't be beat. Puts most Marshalls to shame. Bravo.

WELL THIS A IS A CAB HERE , SO I DON'T THINK IT'S RELEVANT . I GUESS I COULD SEE THAT IT SHOULD BE A STEREO CAB . I PLAY IN MONO , BUT THE STEREO THING WOULD MAKE A LOT OF PEOPLE LIVES A LOT EASIER .

Sound Quality : 10
I MUST BE HONEST . I LOOKED INTO BUYING THESE CABS AFTER I BOUGHT TWO SLO-100 HEADS . I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE HEADS THAT I HAD TO SEE WHAT WAS UP WITH THE CABS . I WAS SUPER IMPRESSED . I GUESS I HAD A RESERVATION ABOUT THE FACT THAT THESE CABS HAVE SOLDANO SPEAKERS AND I WAS SO USED TO THE VITAGE 30'S IN MY MESA CABS . BUT , THESE SOUND BETTER TO MY EAR . MUCH MORE BOTTOM END AND LESS OF THAT GRAINY HIGH END THAT THE MESA CABS HAVE . VERY ROUND .
THE SOUND IS MORE DIRECTIONAL . IN OTHER WORDS , THE SOUND JUST SORT OF BLASTS OUT RIGHT FROM THE SPEAKER LIKE WATER FROM A FIRE HOSE . BUT FOR LIVE PLAYING , THAT WORKS A LOT BETTER . IT MAKES THE SOUNDMAN'S JOB EASIER . MUCH MORE CONTROLLABLE .

Reliability : No Opinion
HAVE HAD THEM ONLY A FEW DAYS .

Customer Support : 10
SO FAR THEY HAVE ALL BEEN GREAT . SUPER HELPFUL .
