There really isn't anything fancy or techinical about the amp. Its pretty much what you see is what you get... what you get is the best sounding distortion there is.

I am playing with a Les Paul standard, playing heavy rock ... stuff in vein of the deftones, finch, STP, Fuel, etc... The amp sounds amazing. It has such a distinct sound. Its one of the meanest sounding amps I've ever played. The distortion is so thick but its so clear. Every not sounds perfect.

I would have to say that in the 8 or so years I have been playing guitar, this is by far the best sounding amp. It has a very airy sound, but the distortion is so f-ing thick and brutal. I would say for anyone who likes a very clean, not super fuzzy distortion you have to AT LEAST TRY this amp out. I could not be happier with my purchase. I also have the matching ssoldano cabinet which is made of birch with vintage 30's in it. INCREDIBLE SOUND!!! You can not go wrong with this purchase.
