Soldano SLO

Just got a 2001 Slo from ebay. Been playing 30+ yrs. and think I may have found the last amp for me. Everyone knows it's the hot stuff for overdrive up to metal. I was surprised at the cleans, very nice. No reverb, but with that 3D sound an exp. amp has to have to qualify as "boutiqe" you don't need it. 100 watts, more than enough. Love it.

Love blues, classic rock, southern rock, so this is perfect. Can be a little noisy at very high gain, but what isn't? I'll probably never see 5 much less 10 so can't really say about clean headroom. Absolutely the BEST distortion with no pedals I've every heard.

Have to wait and see. Everyone says built like a tank.

I don't know about the fantastic value part. You get what you pay for, 3800 new, 2000-3000 used, it is what it is. One of the best amps of all time. Worth the money. AND resale value.
I've got new and old Fenders, Marshalls, Ceriatone, etc. Really love it. Would replace it for sure if lost. When the compromising is over, step up and get it. Like my dad always said, if you wait 'til you can afford it, you'll never get it.

This is the ONE! The cut through is unbelievable.
I've owned everything and this amp is in a class by it's self.
I play everything from VH to SRV to modern and classic.
No amp can cut through the mix like the SLO, I own 2.
Bogner, Diezel, Marshall are all great amps, but pale in comparison to the strait
a head madness of this amp. My search is over!!!

What can you say? Lifetime warranty!!!!!!!!
