awesome british hiwatt sound-made by dallas orbiter-inspired by dave reeves and harry joyce. since this has the hi fi quality partridge transformers, this amp sings the sweet melody we guitar and bass players love. it is a trouser flapping air mover to say the least. sweet sustain and harmonics. designed to be as clean as possible, when You dime the channel or master volume, it has an unpleasant distortion, because it is designed to be clean. but, when You put a distortion pedal into it, it screams like a marshall. the clean is first rate. could not ask for more. sort of like a marshall but more detailed. eats fender's lunch, like a marshall does. does country, to jazz, to rock clean. does classic marshall cruch to fulkl on scooped metal with the right pedal. a perfect 10 is possible with this head.
Reliability
:10
when used with a variac like all pre 80s amps should be, and loaded with matched output tubes and biased correctly, it will give years and years of troubke free service. but, You must keep it serviced correctly as listed above, and trouble will be non existent
Customer Support
:No Opinion
never used it.
Overall Rating

to get this type of sound quality, You would have to spend $2999 street price for a new handwired hiwatt.
