it it lacking in power and has very limited room for sound adaptation.

Sound Quality : 1
this amp when turned on is bad, i had a ??10 cable and it buzzed like a bee in a washing machine and now i have my ??20 cable it isnt that bad although most of the volume is coming from the ??60 Boss DS-2 distortion pedal. The distortion is so bad on the amp it has better distortion when at full volume.

Reliability : 1
It broke the day it was bought.

standard volume, bass, treble controls, and a distortion button.

this amp buzzes like crazy at whatever volume. on clean this amp sounds bad but when you turn on the distortion you can barely make out the notes. it just sounds like lower and higher buzzes. not very loud either at all.

Reliability : 5

i got this amp from my g/f cause i really wanted to get into playing guitar. i finally bought my own guitar, a MIM strat, but i hate this amp more and more every time i use it. i am just waiting for the day i can finally afford to buy another amp. the only excuse to use this amp is because it simply came with the squire kit and you cant afford another. there is no reason in the world to waste your money on this amp. you will just end up hating yourself

2006, 2 channel, clean and over drive, sounds great, amd the folkls at Squier are nice.

Sound Quality : 6
clean sounds kinda far off. you know like it is three miles away from where you are playing. and overdrive is kinda grainey, but for a package, ten watt amp, you cant complain.

Reliability : 8
sound is not so good, but the thing is bullet proof! i have kicked it and i droped it, works fine with no damage to speaker or anything!

Customer Support : 7
kind and very helpful, they really try to sell their product to you.

This amp came with a squier strat. I bought them for ??30 from a charity shop for my nine year old daughter.
It's used for group sessions with kids, featuring a wide range of instruments: percussion, drums, key boards, sax, vocals etc. They devise their own stuff and on a good day it sounds like Velvet underground.
I've got guitars and amps that cost thousands, but I'm always suprised what a great raw sound they get from cheap guitars and amps.
It's basic. Volume, treble and bass controls, an overdive on/off button and a headphone socket.

Sound Quality : 8
The distorted sound is either on or off, and is too extreme for my tastes, but kids can have fun with it.
The clean sound I really like. It's not particularly clean rather more of a valve sound in fact. Great for blues.
I've tried it with a Gibson 335, a Les Paul Jnr, and it sounds particularly good with a Rickenbacker 330. On half volume with both tone controls at 12 o clock it sounds great, very responsive.
Cranked up it will just about compete with a drumkit, but remember it is a tiny little amp.
I often use it at home as a change from my Twin Reverb.

Reliability : 10
It,s very tough. No problems so far.

Great little practice amp. Tough, small, cheap, great sound.
I love getting a good sounds out of basic gear. I really enjoy a Squier strat and the sounds it will make. My 1960 strat sounds better, but not 500 times better!

Comes with many Squier guitars. Has trebble, bass, volume,od switch, headphone and input jacks. It is ten watt solid state. I just use it as a practice amp. Not much tonal variation. Trebble switch dosen't do that much, bass a little more effective. Real quiet. I play with basstist using a (for rehersal) a small kustum and a guitarist who uses a 30 watt Peavey (for rehersal) and they drown me out so bad.

Sound Quality : 6
The amp's overdrive isn't that bad. It is a real fuzzy distortion unlike most solid states which sound real shrill. Turn up the bass and you get a great deep fuzz, perfect for a riff like No Quater by Led Zepplin. The od switch is actually sounds like the amp overdriven, theough not as deep. If you crank up the volume it gets real harsh. THE Clean channel dosen't add anything to your sound. No more warmth or depth or flavor of any kind. The od switch is usweful for quiet practice, or for when the amp is already overdriven bumping it up a bit for feedback.

Reliability : 4
Input jack went out sevral times. Blew speaker like that.

I am what you could call a semi-profesanal musicans (aka busker) playing delta blues. I never busk with this amp, pratice with at home. Came free with my squier Strat, which I loathe with a passion. Now that the speaker is blown I am saving up for another amp, using pignose now. For beganners it is not that bad.

Volume, treble and bass controls. A boost button with no gain controls. This is the original grotbag practice amp that comes free with most Squier guitars. Mine's been stripped of the grillecloth, the back's been taken out, and it's painted silver.

Sound Quality : 5
In the past I've put any instrument I don't happen to have an amp for at the time through this, be it guitar, bass, synth or even vocals. Tonal variation is surprisingly not bad. It makes a hideous transistorized distortion when it's turned up with the boost button on.

Reliability : 10
I've beaten this little box black and blue, then painted it silver, and it has NEVER broken down. These days, I just tend to use it in conjunction with my Vox Pathfinder when I practice at home, to have a kind of stereo setup. Then I can run distortion through one amp, and vice versa.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 7
I messed around with this for years, under the pretense of "sonic experimentation". I feel a little bit bad in a way for giving it such a rough time. I could replace it for about a fiver if it packed in, but I don't think I'd want to, it'd never be quite the same!
