Just recieved a pair of 2-12 cabs. These are amazing works of art that sound incredible. I oredered mine with the convertible back option that lets me choose between closed, 1/3 or 2/3 open. I went with the mahogany cab with flame maple border.

I have one cab loaded with an EV SRO and EV 12L, the other has 2 Eminence Redcoats. The EV cab is very direct and relatively flat, while the eminence cab has a little more midrange bite. In a stereo setup, they sound great together. I can't believe I will be gigging with something this nice, but they sound too good to stay at home.

Absolutely tank-like. No problem without a backup.

To be candid, Hay this is not one of Bill's stong suits. My waiting time for the cabs was at least 2x the original expectation, but that's the price you pay for one-off custom work. Expect a long wait, but be prepared for an amazing product when it arrives.

This type of custom work isn't for everyone, but in my mind, the value of Bill's work is worth it. You can "feel" the quality of Bill's craftsmanship, and this type of quality work is a rarity these days.

I have just received a beautiful 2x12 Mahogony with a tiger striped flamed maple front border cabinet from Bill I loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30 and a Emminince swamp Thang, the cabinet sound is impossible to describe with words you just need to hear one. I played it side by side against a tolex covered 2x12 cabinet with the same speakers and identical cabinet configuration and the difference is amazing. We came up with this package it also includes a weber alnico 2x10 cabinet identical to the first in woods and color but not in size to accomodate the smaller 10's for my Hyak/Alembic guitar through 2 '64 Fender Bandmasters one for each channel of the guitar.

These sound excellent with the Bandmasters but is unbelievable through my Mesa Mk111 with my entire guitar collection. Which has caused a dilema my band mates prefer to hear the Sultones at practice but I will not travel with them or take them to practice again without anvil cases for them I now have a 1x15 on order to round out this setup. The guitars are '71 Les Paul small pickup Natural tuned to "A" for slide and picking,'90 Les Paul Standard Natural regular and E major tuning for slide and picking, "85 Hamer artist Tiger Flamed, first year Mexican Strat sunburst, and Hyak/Alembic oh and a 78 Fender Jazz Bass which I haven't built up an Amp setup for yet but youcan bet it will have Sultone cabs.

I expect to never have any problems with these cabintes other than having to keep my eye on them from my friends wanting to borrow them.

I will give Bill a 6 on this only because of the wait of double the estimate time too get them built if he had told me double the time I would have still bought them so do not be in a hurry to get them, however when they came they craftmanship and detail are what I expect in the aerospace industry not in musical instrument vendors. I will tell you that Bill meets the criteria of detail of my Luthier Mike Lull and Alembic and that is pretty lofty company and he deserves it.

I have been playing for a total of 20 years off and on. Nothing compares to these for price and quality I looked at everything I could find and tested them also.
