custom made for my spec based on Raezer's Edge 1x10 in April, 2004.
this ported cab is beautifully built with solid mahogany which has nice grains. the corners are rounded and the surfaces are smoothly oiled. the cabinet is lighter yet NICER than i expected. mounting screws are included. the panel is prewired for any 10" speaker and has parallel out for an extension.
a high quality leather handle is a nice option. (just about anything is a possible option with Bill)

i am a jazz player. i play archtops and a 69' es-335, hohner G2T and a Martin acoustic.
i put Eminence Beta 10 (250W, 8ohm) in the cabinet and was impressed with the warm and rich sound that can't be found in other cheaper tolex covered cabs.

through the ordering process which involved numerous phone calls and e mails, i learned that Bill was a man of integrity and many talents.
He is very knowledgeable, kind, detail-oriented and cares for the customer and his need like no other guys i ever dealt with.
after i got the cab today, i called him for extra rubber feet and he offered to ship them for free.
there's also a cool signature and memo written in Bill's own handwriting on the inner side of the amp just for the new owner...a nice personal touch.
He made me feel like i was his friend, not just another customer. this kind of business approach is much appreciated and hard to find in today's industry, really.

i am a professional musician and ANAList (yes, a preofessional one at that as well).
i've been playing various bf/sf fender amps, mesa boogie Mark I, various polytone combos and heads, david eden through Mesa Boogie Thiele 1x12 and Raezer's Edge Twin 8 cabinets.
i'd definitely buy again if it was stolen. as a matter of fact, i am planning to sell my Raezer's Edge and order Bill's cabinet to replace it in near future. i love the quality, craftmanship, limitless options that come with true customization and Bill's professionalism which surpasses mere business transactions.
Bill takes his time and tells his customer everything about his product and beyond.
another very impressive aspect of this product is its price to quality ratio.
honesty and quality are a foreign concept to many of us who are facing the dark expansion of the Corporate America, which has been terribly succesful in its attempt to deceive, manupulate, and mislead American public. Yet a rare encounter with an individual like Bill Boekhoff in today's Guitar-Center-owned industry is like finding a delightful oasis in the middle of a desert. i would like to encourage conscious musicians who want quality and honesty to support Bill and other rarebird artisans.
