Emminence or Utah speakers, labelled only "Sunn Transducer". 8 ohms, 160 watts, paper cones with aluminum dust caps. Cab is mono, covered in a flat tolex, metal corners, casters, legs so you can lie it on its side, solid plywood with ply baffle and really neat wiring inside (stuck down with double sided tape so it won't move around) back held on with a million screws (i counted).

Sound Quality : 7
Bright, clean, not as loud per watt as a Celestion V30. They like a bright amp (or at least, not too much bass), too (not at all happy with my Vibrolux head, but sound killer with a Sunn head). Too much bass will make them rattle a bit. Very JBL...

Reliability : 9
Well, the cab is 30 years old and solid as the day it was made. Pretty cool.

I wouln't use it for my only cab. For a bass sound from a low wattage head, or for a hi-fi clean sound up to Stevie Ray drive, they shine. Probably not a good match for a Marshall type head (tried a Soldano and wasn't really happy with it). A cool sound that has a place, although they're huge and it'll take a BIG place :-)
