I believe this amp was built before 1947 & although all numbers & tags are present, the amp does not have a model number. The speaker is a Utah 12" field coil type. Most early Supro amps use Rola speakers. The tube lineup is a 6J7 to a 6SC7 to a push-pull 6V6 configuration with a 5Y3 rectifier- real old school design.

The 'plain Jane' amp only has a off-on switch & a volume control. Two input jacks are present. Power is about 15-watts. Amp would require a PA mike for live performances in a rock band. Fact is, the amp does not need a tone control.

Sound Quality : 10
This amp has more attitude, sustain and rich harmonic structure at full volume than any amp I ever heard including a Supro 1624 dual tone with the Rola speaker. Be assured a 'crap load' of amps has come thru my repair shop. No wonder these vintage amps bring a lot of money. This amp has a excellent chance of unseating your favorite studio recording amp- no kidding.

Another amazing thing is either a single coil or humbucker pickup sounds great on this amp.

Reliability : No Opinion
Well, after about 60 years, it still plays. i suggest replacing the electrolytic & coupling caps on old amps from this era. The trick is to use a cap that sounds the same as vintage wax/paper caps.

Customer Support : No Opinion
None, but any tech should be able to repair the simple design.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
A few of us have played thru this amp with 40 years experience being the most. Stolen? I would not likely find another. If you find one of these amp, I say at $500 it is a steal.
