If I like a song, I'll attempt to add it to my repertoire. Could be blues, rock, country, reggae, old standards. Doesn't matter as long as it's a good song. I currently have a Les Paul Classic, but have had a Peavey, Samick, Godin, various Strats, a Gibson hollowbody and a Guild over the years. Will probably stay with the Les Paul. I've played these through various Fenders, a Marshall, a Peavey and a Line 6. To me, this amp sounds as good, and in some cases better, than any I've played. The clean channel is very good, 'though I haven't played at very high volume. Overdrive can be heavy or smooth, just takes some tweaking. The only effects I've used are the tremelo and reverb, which are very good and the auto wah, which is not. Amp can get very loud, will cut through most mixes.
Reliability

No Opinion
Have only had this amp about six months, so can't vouch for it's reliability. Have had no problems so far. It's built like a tank. No flimsy grill cloth here, but a perforated plate of rigid 1/8" metal for a grill cover.

This amp is large ( 31 x 20 x 13 ) and almost 80 pounds. So it's not the easiest to transport. But,I'm very satisfied it and would buy another if lost or stolen. It wasn't cheap at a street price of $600.00, but you could pay a lot more for an amp that has nowhere the features of this one. It sounds good enough to gig with and is a great practice and learning tool. I love being able to play along with the actual artists and have both the amp and CD controls together at my fingertips.
