Not sure what year the amp was made in I would guess in the last 2-3 yrs. I was told by Tommy of Tatoo Amps its a one off special order amp. Its an old school rock & roll amp. Preamp & controls are like a plexi Marshall & the output is like an 18 watt Marshall. I put a Celestion Blue Alnico speaker in it. It has 3-12ax7, 2-el84 & 1-ez81 tubes. No switching, effects loop or anything like that. Don't need it. I have been useing it in the studio & on gigs. Its plenty loud.

I play mostly Les Pauls & sometimes a Tele. They all sound very fat through this amp. There is not alot of clean but the overdrive sound is where its at anyway. Its not a metal amp just a great rock & blues amp. From Mississippi Queen to Crossroads to Francine it does it all.
Reliability

I have only had it for about a month. I take it to gigs without a backup. Its built to last a lifetime. All handwired with very good parts. Clean work.

I emailed Tatoo Amps to inquire about the amp late last night. Tommy got back with me first thing this morning. He was very friendly & helpfull. Even though I bought the amp used he told me he would do routine service & warranty work free as long as I owned the amp. How can you beat that?

I have been playing since I was a kid. Many years ago. Over the years I have owned Matchless, Dr.Z, Clark, Victoria, Kendrick, Bruno, Fender, Marshall & some I,ve forgetten about. This amp could hold its own with the best of them
