Just a black 2X12 closed back cabinet. It is covered in black tolex with a "bluesbreaker" grillcloth. While it is only wood and cloth, it is built rathere well, especially when you take a look on the insides. Pretty straightforward, though, and surprisingly light (maybe guess I am just too used to a 4X12, but this cabinet was only 55 lbs shipped). Also, it has the mounts for pop-out casters, but these come separately.

Origionally this came with a Weber Blue Dog and a Greenback, but I do not really like the sound of Greenbacks for high-gain applications and as a result replaced it with a Vintage 30. This review reflects the cabinet after the swap.
It has a very well balanced sound (I am using it with a 50 watt Top Hat Emplexador head). There is less bass with the Vintage 30, but it has a better overall sound now; more distinct and with greater clarity. While the Vintage 30s work great for high gain, they do not have the sweet midrange tones of a Greenback. Oh well, tradeoffs are everywhere. As it stands I feel that it has the most balanced sound of any cabinet I have owned. There is enough bass for almost any kind of music, and the resonance of the cabinet seems to be at an acceptable frequencies. Some cabinets just resonate weird, but this one is great.
While it does not have quite the power and bass of a 4X12, the question still stands: "Who in their right minds really wants to carry a 4X12 up a flight of stairs, or anywhere else for that matter." I feel that a 2X12 is a great setup for those needing a closed back setup, and this cabinet captures about 90% of the 4X12 feel.
A note about the speakers: I had never previously heard Weber speakers before this, but I must say that I am impressed by the tone of the Blue Dogs. It is very similar to the Vintage 30, but it has about half the power rating. The two speakers compliment each other well.

Again, I have to apologize for any grammatical mistakes, as it is 12:50 am and I just finished my review on the Emplexador head.
A well built cabinet that matches their heads perfectly. The quality is definately on par with the other guys, so I guess it is just up to you. I am not really that into cabinets; as long as the head sounds good through them then it is okay with me. However, Top Hat stuff in general is excellent, and this cabinet is another example of their great craftsmanship.
