I bought this amp new, 4 years ago, in Paris, to amplify my banjo and
my electro-acoustic cavaquinho (similar to the ukulele). I am playing
samba and other brazilian music styles. For soloing, i usually add
a Martin portacon or a Fischman pro-g preamp, otherwise i just plug directly in the instrument input, because the sound is very clear.
There is also a very convenient line input that i sometimes use with another setup when i need 2 or more inputs: in that case, the line in is for a small AT mixer in which i plug a SCV dibox for my instrument and a microphone for my voice.
A third feature is the line output, but i have never used it. I then prefer connect directly my instrument to the main PA, via the dibox...
Small critics:
The instr. input and the line one can't be use simulteanously.
The power (35W) is enough only for small venues (bars,...).

I'm both soloing and playing more rythmic and this amp sound very clear, even at high volume. It's an acoustic amp, and it does well its job, even the lack of equalization, reverb and other effects...

I have the amp since 1999, and never have to complain about it's reliability. It's due to its solid construction and perhaps to its simplicity (No adds-on features, etc...)

I have never needed support from the company, so i can't judge...

I also own a Gallien-Krueger 200MV (2 channels vocal + instr combo).
It's a good amp, with more power and also more features than the Power
Cube, but it doesn't reproduce acoustic sounds as accurately. I think
that only AER has succeeded in producing better small acoustic combos since the Trace Elliot Cubes.

This amp was made probably in 2000 (I'm not too sure). It is very simple - a volume knob, 2 inputs (instrument and line-in), and a line-out. I control the tone straight from my guitars, although I
would like to get ahold of a preamp that has reverb built in - the Acoustic Cube has this but is really hard to find (Noone wants to sell these things! They're so good) I bought this amp as a small practice amp for my guitar classes and my private time and as a monitor for church. I play a bunch of styles except heavy-metal stuff. This is PERFECT for all of that. The 5" speaker is incredibly clear! My rating for features should be a 1 since it only has a volume knob, however this amp is not meant to have any effects - for that I would buy a line-6 or something. It was made to simply emit sound straight from a guitar or other source - this, it does wonderfully.

I use an american strat with Fralins and a handmade archtop with a benedetto pickup. As I said before I play a bunch of styles (jazz, classical, folk, latin, etc..) and this amp delivers incredible tone with the correct settings. I also noticed that this amp is probably the quietest I've ever used - even at extreme volumes it stays clear.

This amp is definitely built to last - as are all TE products.
Simply put - a tank with tone! I haven't owned it long so I will not
lie and say that I've gigged it for eons or anything, But I will say
that it is heafty for a 7 lbs. amp and looks like it will last for as long as I can play the guitar.

I've never dealt with them. Plus they don't exist anymore - Gibson got them

According to some of the forums posted here, I might have paid on the
high end of the pric range. But, I don't regret it one bit, and would definitely but it again in a heart beat. I still have my eyes out for the Acoustic cube, too. This amp sounds great not just for its size, but just because it sounds great. And I would recommend it highly for anyone looking for a great monitor (and with a proper extension, a good gigging amp - 35 watts!).
