Enough features to suit my needs. 95% of my playing is solo
vocal/acoustic guitar (diehard folksinger)

I have a Martin D-15 with a McIntyre GT-001 pickup (which McIntyre has unfortunately discontinued). No preamp is needed with this amp! My Martin D-15 SOUNDS LIKE A MARTIN D-15!!!!! Plenty of punch, too! My styles are: folk, old-timey, 60's acoustic rock.

I have had a friend do some minor work on two occasions when the volume would cut out. I think that the previous owner was not too kind in handling the amp when he/she had it. It now works wonderfully; an awesome sounding amp to handle any acoustic guitar style.

I would buy another one if anything should happen to this amp. Trace Elliot knows what quality is. If you need to buy a reliable acoustic amp, try a Trace Acoustic amp first.

This is a two-channel accoustic guitar/mike-capable amplifier with piezo/active switching, phase inversion, ground switching, channel ballance, individual hi and low cut, notch (in or out), and gain controls for each channel, a beautiful chorus (speed and intensity), an acceptable reverb, and a master volume/shaping control. It has a foot switch jack for the chorus and 'verb, but if either is on it's on for both channels. There's also a preamp out on the back of the box, but no standby power, no XLR mike jack, and no headphone jack. It has 2 X 5" speakers built in -- and they sound great for the size!

I play a Martin d41 with a under bridge Fishman pickup.
I have not Heard any other amp That matches the sound quality
of the Trace amps.

Very clean, quiet amplifier. The preset accoustic EQ shaping is really nice, and the notch filters ensure no feedback. It's quite loud for it's size and power, and is more than enough amplifier for small club gigs. I've been using it with a Yamaha APX, a Kramer Ferrington and an Ovation Celebrity 12, and all sound terrific on it.

It's never broken down -- built like a tank... Highest quality. I asked around quite a bit before considering Trace Accoustic, after all the prices are high! But the quality is excellent! I would gig without backup...

Love this amp! All my electric amplifiers are Crates (a Blue Voodoo and a little GX15R for playing when the wife's home :-), so I naturally considered Crate accoustic amps first, but this little beasty blows them away!
