iam not shure when this amp was made but its #008 so its a early one. 2 channels no ch switching(not cool) reverb/texas tea/no reverb on lead channel??

with my 62 strat the clean channel is one of the best, sparkling blackface tones but more complex, great lush verb.The lead channel has its owen thing going, very ballsy and focesed. not fender not marshall or vox.Ithink its cool but i could see why some players woudent dig it.

so far so good, gerald weber seems to be a great guy,very approachable and knows a thing or 2 about tube amps.

i bought this amp at the 2000 arlington guitar show as soon as i picked it up i went over to the kendrick booth.G web answeared all my qustion and gave my some tube configuration tips free of charge.cool

there are a lot of great used amps in the $2000.00 range.I currently owen 2-12 combos by vht matchless fender marshall bogner to name a few. When a customer comes to me for a combo i always ask what do you want the amp to do?w then go from there.My climax sounds great. For that great vintage fender clean its (the one) cool lead tones to boot. I am told this amp retalied for$5000.00 To much? Yes.But i feel the same way when i read most retail stickers.
