I beleive the one i purchased was built in 2007 and I just bought it yesterday and spent all last night playing though it. I play mostly 70-80's rock with some heavy metal country and current stuff thrown in for good measure. This amp is versatile enought for all styles of music I play from good old fashioned 70's crunch to searing gain of metal to more subtle clean sounds, with 3 channels you can just "Set it and forget it!"

Sound Quality : 10
I tested this rig with a Highway One Strat and A Les Paul Standard and was able to get "the sound" from both. I truly think this is the amp I have been looking for! Tones are great, it's loud when you want it and able to pull off a good sound at lower volumes thnks to the 30W selector. The cleans are clean and the gains are how I like em too! I am suprised, like others have commented, how quiet this amp is!

Reliability : No Opinion
Judging by the construction and the warranty, this should be very reliable. Too early to tell, I'll update this as I se it more.

Customer Support : No Opinion
2 year unlimited warranty, but again i just bought it.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Been playing 22 years through many different amps. For the past 14 years I have been using a Peavey Rockmaster preamp and a classic Chorus Power amp into a 2 x 12 Marsall 1936 cabinet. When the Preamp failed last week I decided it was time to replace, so after much research on Traynor, Vox, Marshall and Peavey, this one was the most versatile and best bang for the buck. This amp is built to the road in terms of construction and options. Must have been built by a travelling guitar player becase it has everything you would want in an amp!

New 2006 model...Very versatile.....3 channels ( 1 clean, 2 dirty) Lot's power, 2 nice effects loop....Good features for the $$$

Sound Quality : 9
Went through many new amps lately ( Mesa, Orange....) Could not find what I was looking for. Many nights of dial fiddling and "No Cigar" could not find it! whatever IT was... 1 Hour of dialing with this amp and I was playing ....Not turning dials looking for something to happen.
Great distortion ( 2 sounds availabe) nice SOLO boost. After trying to get a sound out a couple of Mesa's I was blown away by how quiet this amp is at FULL gain volume loud. Very good on this front.

I use a Les Paul and seemed to be finding amps that sounded better with Strats ( single coils) but I feel this amp does the Les Paul
thing really well. This amp play well with the limited effects I use.

Reliability : 10
Yorkville.....Built to last....and take a kicking

Customer Support : 10
I think Yorkville are the best!.....Some old dude on the phone ( Customer Service) that has "real world" knowledge.....Not what appears on a screen in front of him.

Unlike Mesa who just say whatever is needed to get you off the phone.

Overall Rating : 10
Great amp, great value, made in Canada, 3 channels, good sound......I am not that much of a guitar player and need all the help I can get. Screwing with amps trying to find the "sweet spots" can get a little much. This amp is easy to dial in........Adjust for a sound, adjust your dirt....AND PLAY!

I use with the matching cab ( 4x12 Vin-30) and it just does it for me!
