This is a very versatile amp for most practical guitarists who don't an arm and a leg to sacrifice for good sound. It is basically Traynor's reply to the very popular twin reverb, so the sound is very similair. When I bought this amp I was looking at it and a twin reverb, and the only difference was about $100, and the two sounded almost the same. This amp is loud, a very powerfull 100w tube amp. The down falls of it are that Traynor is not a very popular amp company, and I think it went o out of business several years back, so you can only pick up a used one. It is also very heavy, which is common amoung larger tube amps.

Sound Quality : 7
I play a wide variety of music ranging from blues to heavy heavy "alternative", and the amp sounds great no matter what you put through it. As most tube amps go there is no distorted channel, so you will have to provide that through a pedal. However there is a great reverb system as well as a vibrato effect, or a "helicopter" effect, which I rarely use, but can be played with. It is the same basic amp as a fender twin reverb, so the sound is also fairly similair.

Reliability : 8
So far the amp has been fine. The only reason I wory is if something major goes wrong, I wonder if any one can fix it being that it is outdated.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I dont think the company is around any more. I am into classic amps and guitars, and also I like to try new things, so this amp excited me.

Overall Rating : 7
So far I love it. That may change, but I'll put my faith in it for now. I've had my share of shitty amps, but this one is descent.
