Wow, someone else has one too? I think that mine is a different Reverb Master becasue I'm pretty sure that mine is, according to the back of the head, rated at 200 watts. It is paired with a matching 4X12 sealed back cabinet. I think this is a fairly rare amp, having never seen another one. According to the lable on the cabinet it was built in November 1971. It's got a whole mess of tubes on the inside, Simple Volume/Master Volume, Bright Switch, Treble/Mid/Bass controls, Very Lush reverb and a Tremlo Channel. I love it just for the tremlo!! It's a one channel amp...unlike the other review, I can't get any overdrive or breaking up out of it. If I have the Volume cranked to "10" I can get a little bit, but not much at all. It's excedingly clean. And very loud. It really reminds me of a Fender Amp. Still, it's not all that versital. It sounds great but it's one channel with not many features except the Tremlo (Did I mention that I LOVE the tremlo? Oh yea, and the tremlo is Awsome too!)

Very beautiful, super clean sound, with lush reverb. For clean sounds, this thing is KING. I've had this amp for almost 14 years, and have tried it with just about every kind of guitar you could think of...Strats, Telecasters, Hollow Body's, LP type solid body's... in the 80's I even let some of my friends use their (eek) shreaders - Ibaznez, Kramer, Jackson guitars through it and they all sound great. One thing about this amp is that it really brings out the character of whatever you put through it. If you use a cheep distortion box - it sounds cheep. In general really saturated, gainy type of units tend to sound harsh and crappy. Smoother "overdrive" type of units work much better. Supriseingly, probably one of the best things i've tried with this was a GSP-21. I think that was mostly becasue I was able to tweak the EQ to work with the amp. Other effects like chorous, flange, ect usually sound great.

29 years old, 14 years in my hands, changed the tubes once and that was it. I retired it from regular use about 4 years ago, when I got a Mesa/Boogie Mark IV. That is probably good, since I think that support for this thing would be hard to get. If this were hit by a car I would seriously fear for the car. It's a TANK. BUT it is old, and I started to get nervous about using it so much...even though I NEVER had a problem, I didn't want to destory a cool old amp by playing out raunchy Punk/Ska tunes all the time.

This was my main preforming amp for about 10 years and I love it. The clean is super crisp and clean. Careful with the distortion units though. It's pretty much a basic amplifier so there isn't much to complain about, although if you want something that got killer tone and is versital, than check out my Boogie Mark IV review. It's been reliable. HEAVY as hell though. It's got to be 2X the weight of my Boogie. That was one of the reasons that I stoped using it out...it was killing us to lug it around. The cabinet is VERY WIDE and the head is HUGE. Very vintagy sound with a lot of clean volume and headroom... I like it.
