Mine's built in '05. 2 channels reverb, see all the other reviews for features.

Sound Quality : 6
This amp can punch a ton for its size, but....its not that good quality. Reverbs really good, clean channels ok, but the distortion sux. it was pretty bad and kills the sound so i ran it through a boss ds-2. i play it through a 1985 standard strat but i couldnt enjoy the beautiful sounds of a strat through this, so i bought a marshall stack. not that good sound.

Traynor TRM30 Traynor Reverb Mate 30 Reverbmate 30 made in 2005 likely but I think it just arrived on a slow boat from China Feb. 2006. I just bought the amp after trying it out in the music store. It was tagged at $135 Canadian (taxes in) (roughly $115 U.S.) which made it the best bargain practice amp in the store in my estimation.

Sound Quality : 10
The 10 inch speaker has a nice clean sound to it without being too tinny or too bottom heavy and the reverb is surprisingly pleasant. I'll likely use it for pop rock, traditional church choruses and old standard tunes. It seems fairly loud. I'm not sure I'd use it live with a drummer behind me, but otherwise I figure it has more volume than I'll need for small venues.
The 4 band EQ is nice and the channels can be switched with the front button or with a simple foot switch that plugs in just below the one input jack on the left.
That's one of the weird things about this amp. The two left jacks appear to be two inputs but only the top jack is an input; the lower one is for the channel switching foot switch to plug into.
Over on the right are two more jacks. I'm sure I'll use the phones-out jack to avoid disturbing my family at home and the line out jack might come in handy sometime. In the back of the amp one of the three jacks will allow a foot switch to turn the reverb on and off. I doubt I'll be using the effects Send and Return jacks back there (post-EQ and pre-reverb says the manual) but someone might find them useful.

Reliability : 10
Seems sturdy enough.

One year warranty. Yorkville has a website.

Been playing for decades. Have own multiple types and levels of amps/guitars. I'd be looking to re-buy the same if I lost this amp. It was taggd at $135 Canadian (taxes in) (roughly $115 U.S.) which made it the best bargain practice amp in the store in my estimation. I compared it with a tiny Marshall tagged around $100 Canadian ...no reverb and a small tinny speaker. Fender amps seemed to mostly cost more with less features.
The other weird thing about the amp is the layout of the EQ knobs which go from left to right as hi-to-low (ie. backwards to convention). Whatever. Anyone who can read or hear the EQ working should be able to deal with that :-) At 21 Ibs. the amp is very "carry friendly". Oh yes, one other thing ...the printed Owner's Manual that came with it is one of those one-manual-covers-a-few-models type. At one point the TRM30 is listed as having a "Chorus Control" which it DOES NOT HAVE. I guess somebody didn't do a good job of checking their work when they put the manual together. The amp doesn't have chorus.
I'm sure I'll use the phones out jack to avoid disturbing my family at home and the line out jack might come in handy sometime. I doubt I'll be using the effects Send and Return jacks in the back (post-EQ and pre-reverb says the manual) but someone might find them useful. I've had various practice amps over the years but the features of the Traynor TRM30 vs. the price make this unit a likely keeper.

30W guitar amplifier with 10" speaker offers 4-band EQ, gain control, dual channels (can use a footswitch), effects loop, spring reverb, and headphone jack. I give it an 8 because is fairly versatile for an inexpensive amp. Cheaper than the 15 watt one channel fender beside it. Lower the rating if your comparing to $200+ amps.

Sound Quality : No Opinion
I tried it with my epiphone dot. The eq is a little heavy on the low end but the overall sound was pretty good, especially for the price. You'll need your own fx and the distortion is pretty crappy but I bought this to play clean. If u want distortion, get a pedal. The reverb works fine and it sounded better with my squire start and a chorus pedal.

Reliability : 7
I don't know how depedable it is, as it is new, but I would try to push it if I was a young guy in a band. Really more of a practice amp though.

I wrote this review because I see these goofy negative reviews about an inexpensive amp that obviously serves a market niche. If U want a better amp that is more versatile you will have to pay for it. If you want a serviceable 30 watt amp with some pretty good features for the price of a basic 15 watt amp this is a good deal. It may not have the output of a more expensive 30 watt amp but it's loud enough. My other amp is a line 6 so there is no comparison but this one is fine for practice especially if u want some reverb and a pretty full sound.

30 watt solid state combo available in black or creme tolex. 1 10" speaker ,open back cab. made in China I think. Clean channel , drive channel and reverb. I dont think there is a footswitch in for ch switch. there was one for reverb. looks kind of cheap.

Sound Quality : 3
I have a home made tele. This amp did not sound good . Clean channel broke up pretty early and didnt stay too clean. Amp didnt sound full and clean. The distortion actually ,to me , didnt sound bad , but you can always get a better distortion from stompboxes with SS amps. My bigest problem with this amp was with its reverb. If you went past 4 , it made a strange , sort of nervous sound. The trail of a note would kind of warble in the worst way.

Reliability : No Opinion
It seemed to say everywhere that it has this 2 year "even if you break it" warrantee. I didnt see anything on yorkvilles web site stating the warrantee was any different on the "international" (China) amps. When i got the amp , there was a card stating it had a 1 yr. warrantee. Misleading?

Not a very good amp , Im not crazy about the fender frontmans , but the frontman 25r is a much nicer amp even if the reverb is weak and eq is treble heavy.

-2 channels, shared 4 band EQ
-footswith jack for Rev and channel
-FX loop, phones out
-NO speaker jack at all
-10 in spkr
-decent cabinet and covering
-lots of features for the bucks

Sound Quality : 4
I am casually seeking a good sounding small amp, this was a just a home test and this one does not make the cut.
The clean sounds are fair, the distortion channel is raspy with poor sustain, the power is limited (30 Watts???? Whatt??) and the clean channel overdrives with no grace at all. Sadly it is the type of breakup that gives SS amps a bad name. My Tubescreamers overdrive MUCH better.

The other features may work but it's not a keeper.

Reliability : 5
Korean built, probably 1999/2000??. Looked good but only from the outside. I had it cranked for a few minutes and.....what was that smell? It may have been old store stock. Dunno.

Customer Support : 8
Yorkville sound has been good to me before and there is lots of store support for their stuff here. (Toronto area)

Overall Rating : 5
Price and appearance were OK but beware of limited volume (not bad, but this ain't no Vox AC30) and gruesome distortion character.

Of course, booteek 15 watt tube amps are now priced at $3000Cdn. Youch!

Maybe I need to find a deal on a baby Peavey.
