This is one of the only practice amps I've ever seen with two volume knobs... gives way better drive/distortion that a gain knob, it's really special. The reverb is also a good 17 cm two spring box, beautiful. Not the type of reverb channeling where you can play through just the reverb with the volume at zero. Headphone jack gives a weird high pitched feedback if used as a line out, sometimes i like it, sometimes no, it's a lo-fi type thing... I'd play gigs through this thing if it had a good line out, not too comfortable micing such a small amp... no fancy effects but the two volume knobs totally do it for me.
Hi and Lo inputs, Bass Mid treb knobs (very nice contouring here), reverb and master knobs

It's totally grunged out if you play with headphones with the volume and eqs all at 10, reverb up high, and master at 2. It's like the best distortion ever made. I play this garbage guitar, Vibra, at home through it and it sounds as good as my buddys strat does goin through his Lab Series
It gets an eight cause it's just not that loud and I wish it was, and it breaks down pretty early when you turn up the master and the volume is already up high

When I got it from a friend it started to stink pretty quick, there was smoke, I opened it up and the transformer was melting... but I took it to Supremetronic in Toronto and dudes sold me a replacement for seven bucks, and showed me how to wire it up, and since then it's worked great. So it's easy to fix, I guess.
The reverb box is fragile though, I took it out and was 'playing' it for some noise sets and I broke one of the springs' holders (?) piece that holds the spring in place... it was NOT worth it

They're Canadian, they will be polite for sure, never had to deal with them though

I think if I was getting another practice amp I'd totally try to get another one of these, but I'd rather spend my 130 on a cabinet or somethin

Using Fender with single coils, playing mostly jazzy styles and 50's /60's pop. Pretty quiet, slightly more hum than hiss, but substantially quieter than my Princeton 65 ss amp. In use noiseless.
Tweed type sound and distortion, certainly not Fender clean or recto distortion at all.

Build quality no longer available in this type of product, in what would be considered a practice amp today. I have a friend gigging with a TS 15 for many years it seems to be very reliable.

Been around bands and PA for 40 years playing guitar for 10. If lost or stolen would look for another or TS10/25. like it's tweed type sound and distortion it's light weight. a nice little amp.
