This amp is a 50 watt 2x12 tweed beauty. It has Normal Volume, Bright Volume, bass, Middle and Treble knobs as well as presence.
This amp is hand built with the Blues in mind. It is based somewhat on the 59 tweed fender bassman, but has a much more defined bottom end without the flubbyness of the Fender Tweeds. It is more efficient and more responsive then the old Fenders. The bass is very tight unlike all the fender tweeds I have played. It is point to point wiring, made to my specs. It has two Weber V12 speakers. One ceramic and one alnico. The only feature I wish was included is a built in reverb. (Trimmed and burning does make a Reverb Tank which is sold seperate and it is awesome).

Sound Quality : 10
The 59er is a blues machine, it is made for the blues player and it screams soul! This amp can get the clean Fender bell like tones up to about 35 watts, then it starts to growl. When playing in the range of 35 to 50 watts, it growls and screams. When I crank the amp and roll my treble off a touch on the guitar (1994 Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 10 top) it gives me a tone somewhere between Clapton with Cream and Duane Allman on the Fillmore east album. Roll the treble back up and it gives me a Freddie King type tone... if I turn the volume down on the guitar when the amp is cranked it gives me a clean almost P90 sound or a slightly overdriven Peter Green tone.
I am in love with this amp. This amp is a tone machine. If you play blues, this is the holy grail of tone.

Reliability : 10
I have had my amp for 7 months now. No problems at all. The more I play it the better it sounds. The speakers are now all broke in and very responsive. Knowing a few guys who have used these amps for some time I have no doubt they will be VERY reliable.
Having been to Shannons shop and seen first hand his quest for perfection I have no doubt about build quality and quality of components used.

Customer Support : 10
I started emailing Shannon Cobberly at Trimmed and Burning Amps and Guitars a full year before I ever ordered my amp. I asked questions buy the boatload and Shannon emailed the answers back to me within hours in most cases and alwys within 24 hrs tops. He included pictures with options etc..
Shannon loves what he does and he loves talking about his products and finding out what you are looking for. His goal is to make the buyer happy....I never felt as though he considered me to a pain or nuisance even though I asked questions for the better part of a year before I even orderd my amp.
I played a blues festival in Canada in July 2006. We drove up from San Diego, Ca and on the way up I stopped by Shannons shop in Washington. He let me play thru all his amps and his guitars. He went to the festival and allowed me to use one of his amps. That was it. I was sold. I came off stage and told him I had to have one. He built it exactly the way I wanted, used the mixture of one Ceramic speaker and one Alnico speaker to give me the tone I was after. Shannon was in touch every couple of days during the building process keeping me informed as to how things were going. Did I mention these are all hand built! I can't imagine myself ever using another amp, unless it was also a Trimmed and Burnin'. A rating of 10 is not high enough to exspress my satisfaction with the customer Service.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 33 years, I have owned tweed, blonde and blackface Fenders, Mesa Boogie markIII's, Jim Kelley FACS, Musicman, and Alesandro Working Dogg amps to name a few. The Trimmed and Burnin is the only one I will ever need or use now.
The things I love about this amp are the tone, the quality and the way it looks. It has that vintage look and still has that vintage tone, but with a few upgrades.
The only downside of this amp and I am streaching to find one, is the weight. Only because it is made with a solid wood cabinet and two beefy 12 inch speakers there is a considerable heft to the amp.
