I contacted Adam Palow, Owner and builder of Tungsten Amplification, about repairing an early 50's Fender Pro for me. He said he does some work on old Fenders but not all and he'd fix it up for me. He put in a new MM output transformer, a new Weber 15" speaker I bought, new caps, and generally touched things up. The amp absolutely screams now and is very stable.
Features are two volumes and one tone.

Using with strat, tele, les pauls etc. Sounds fantastic. Loud clear. Articulate. Great grind when cranked.
Reliability

I have gigged the amp without a backup many times and I'm not at all worried about it. Solid fix on a 50+ year old amp. Adam answers all calls and emails quickly and is available.

Adam is very nice, a great tech, great amp builder, and genuine music lover. Very pleasant to deal with and I will be purchasing one of his own amps in the future.
