Single Channle amp but has footswitchable FET preamp stage with level control, treble, middle, bass, bright, mid, deep, dual EQ settings, gain and master, contour control. 4, 8, 16 ohm output.

THE most versatile amp I have ever used. With the controls mentioned aboveI have 50W version and I don't imagine I will ever need more push. Also has 3 way preamp(negative) feedback switch, and 3 way output section(negative) feedback switch. With all these controls I can get so many different amp vibes that my search for tone in amplifiers is over. I wish I would have purchased one years ago and saved myself hundreds (thousands of dollars), this one amp is what I was after and I will NEVER sell it. It does have an effects loop, but of all the features in the amp I feel the loop is the weakest. It changes the character of the amp and I prefer the pedals in front for sure. The pedal also has tone bypass (Dr. Z is charging for this mod) and is standard on the Two Rock. This is awesome when you need to crash through the roof. It's just so versatile!

Sound Quality : 10
With all these controls I can get so many different amp vibes that my search for tone in amplifiers is OVER. If you need heavy gain/marshall vibe etc.from an amp this is not the model for you and I suggest other Two Rock Models. However, this is THE MOST PEDAL FRIENDLY AMP I have ever experienced. I use this amp with Strats, Humbuckers & a Taylor T-5 and when dialed in, it suits every one of them as if it were designed just for them.

The reverb is the BEST reverb and the SWEETEST reverb you will ever hear. I cannot stress this enough. Reading about it on the Two Rock site it not good enough. It has to be heard in person to appreciate. It has a 3 way toggle for diffent types of reverbs and it is simply what I will describe as a Fender on Steroids. I don't understand guys who don't like reverb. If you like Fender reverb at all, try one of these and I doubt you will EVER look back. NO B.S.

The Two Rock Classic Reverb it "The ****". Get your Dumble sound from a Zen Drive and put it in front of this amp and as Tony Soprano would say "Forget about it". The deep switch /Bass Control is the coolest little tweak too. It is on all the time with my Strats. I also use the Two Rock Signature Cab. I am normally not one to buy the "signature hype", but in this case I woul be dead wrong, this cabinet barks at you like a dog, and is SO full, rich and warm too. "Punch" is a small word for what I am trying to decsribe. I went back and forth deciding between the Custom Version II and this model, I ended up trying both and I am SO glad I kept the Classic. If you want more edge and grit, get the Custom, but if you want TONE - BEAUTIFUL TONE - this is the model for you. I hope I help somebody who has this same dillemma. I play Blues, Classic Rock, Country and Jazz and this amp handles them all (with the help of quality pedals). This amp sparks creativity and makes you wonder why all amps are not made like this. Strats beg for an amp like this.

Reliability : 10
Has not given me any troubles and seems built like a Hummer. I have to gig without a backup because I could never afford two of these. Still, I doubt it will ever give me trouble. It really is that nice.

Customer Support : 9
They seem nice at Two Rock, although I think their sucess might have gone to their head a little. They are not rude or anything, just seem a wee bit cocky. The warranty is great and 5 years so you cannot beat that, but for the price it ought to be a minimum five years anyway.

Overall Rating : 10
I use a Maxon Compressor, Two TS8-808 tube screamers, a BD-2 Blues Driver and a T-Rex Replica for my tones. I have been playing as a pro for 20 years. If it were lost or stolen, I would have to get another. There is just not another amp like it. I have tried and used MANY Fender Amps, Vox, Peavey, Brown Note, Boogies and the list goes on... I cannot remember them all really. My G.A.S. is finally relieved and I can move on for good. I do wish it had the dirty channel of the Type II Custom... But the Custom does NOT have the beautiful clean tones of the Classic. Marry these two and you have the best amp ever made. I don't know why Two Rock has not done that. I also wish it were a bit less expensive because I would own more Two Rocks if I could. I heard one guy call Two Rock amps "The Untouchables" and I am with him, he is spot on! Their slogan should be "Can't Touch This"
