This was the first amp I've bought. I guess it was made around year 2000. As it was said before, no versatility (treb,bas,volume,OD/CLEAN) however I don't think it matters for a beginner. It is small and portable. The OD channel gives a little boost of signal which makes you think you play loud both don't even bother trying to jam side to the drum kit. This amp is good for practicing in an appartement or quiet place. There is an Headphone output.

Sound Quality : 5
The sound is isn't BAD but it is very noisy and metallic. The OD channel gives me good tones with single coil (a la the Hives) well at least it tries to hehe. I use effects in front of it and does the job.

Reliability : 8
Never had trouble with it

Customer Support : No Opinion

I wouldn't buy this amp if I lose it. However I DO play with it everyday because I dont play my Marshall JCM 900 half stack at home. I guess I'll keep this amp forever. Anyways, no one will ever buy this thing.

My Univox 10G is a 2000 model. I think its a pretty good amp for a BEGINNER and nothing other than that. Its not very versatile since it only has treble, bass, and volume controls which are for both channels which really sucks. This amp has 2 channels with a switch on the amp, it would be way more helpful if it had a footswitch, an effects loop would be usefull too but its not the most important, it has a headphone jack which is good for a beginner amp.

This amp was good for the first month of me playing but after that i got too good for this amp and it became useless, i then bought a zoom 505 2 multi effects pedal which helped it alot, but still dosnt sound good for most of my styles. i play metal, jazz, punk, blues and basicly everything i hear. I have to admit this amp has a pretty good clean channel for this size. I only use this in my basement and in my house untill i get my new amp. i find that it is very weak (10 watts solid state)

Sound Quality : 3
the sounds that come out of this amp arnt that great exept mabe the clean sound. I use a Samick Sa-11 strat copy (3 single coils) and soon i will buy a Jackson RR-3 guitar but by then i will already have a good amp. Like i said above it dosnt suit my style. I find that this amp is very noisy on the dirty channel, but with my zoom 505 2 it cleans it up a bit. The amp sound terrible on high volumes and the distortion is ugly and weak.

Reliability : 6
I think its not very relyable because it feels week, i wouldnt use it in a gig because it sounds to bad and its too small. it never broke down but thats because i dont push it much. if i cranked it, it would probably break.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I never used the customer support.

Overall Rating : 2
I have been playing guitar for 2 years now and other than my samick guitar i own a zoom 505 2. if it were stolen or lost i wouldnt care at all i would buy something else. i hate everything about it cuz its too small. i never compared this with other amps befor i bought it, cuz my guitar teacher just ordered it for me. but every other amp basicly blows it away. Dont waste ur money if u want a cheap tiny practice amp go for peavey or marshall or crate or sumthing.

I think it is a 2001 model but I'm not sure. This amp has no versatility whatsoever. I play mostly Metallica. It is a 10 watt with a clean and overdrive switch. It has a volume, treble, and bass knob. It has a headphone jack. I wish is had a better overdrive and footswitching. I use all the features on the amp seeing they're very limited. I use this amp in my basement and it isn't loud at all.

Sound Quality : 5
I am using a Jay Turser JT-300 guitar which has 3 single coil pick-ups with a 5-way selector and 1 volume and 2 tone controls. It suits my music style alright. I play mostly Metallica. The amp can't make very many different sounds so there is hardly any variety. I can't even put the amp up past 7 without it making this terrible buzzing and high pitched sound when in overdrive. The clean channel is never distorted. The distortion sucks.

Reliability : 9
I think it is very dependable. I don't play gigs but if I did I wouldn't be using a 10 watt amp for one thing, especially not this one because the sound sucks. I've never had any problems with the amp.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never dealt with the company

I've been playing for 2 months now. I also own a Jay Turser JT-300 guitar and a Rocktek DIR-01 distortion pedal. If it were stolen I would I would be mad for about 1 second and then save up to buy a better more expensive one. I don't love anything about it and I don't hate anything about it either. I've compared it with many other products. I chose this one because I only had $114.98 in my wallet at the time. I wish it was lounder and had more features. This is an alright amplifier for anyone who is a beginner guitarist and wants to get their first electric guitar and amplifier.
