The clearest sounding amp I have heard. Sparkly sounding. Great with Fender type guitars. All my guitar buddies wish they had one. Better sounding than Fender amps.

My Univox U-30G was made in 02 I believe. It has the following jacks:
1 Input (front), 1 Headphone (front), 1 Loop (back) 1 Effect (back).
Its fairly versatile but lacks the dynamics needed to play overdrive type destortions and other effects. The length, depth and presence settings allow for a varity of different sounds and effects, and the overdrive on/off switch allows for easy and quick switching. 30Watts is a siginifagant amount of power for the home or small venu musician.

Hard to get the exact sound your looking for but has many options. Good for making your own unique sounds but without an assortment of distortion petals copying other sounds for bands like Sabbath and Metallica is next to impossable. You can get close but never get it just right. Still with petals its a great amp.

I love the digital delay for messing around but I wish I had a manual to learn how to set everything just right for different sounds. An amp with 9 different sellection knobs is great but its hard to get the exact same sound twice after switching to something new. Fun to crank up the bass and turn everything else down, or just have mid-range sounds. Versatile but complicated for a beginer.

Nice features on this thing.
I love the Digital delay on this thing, and if I turn up the depth and down the length of it, it works as a sort of reverb. The distortion is a little off the mark and I wasn't too impressed with it, but my FX-86 Death Metal distortion pedal took care of that. all in all great features.

Well, as I said, The distortion isn't amazing, but with a good pedal you can do anything with this amp, however if you're looking to be louder than drums, you can forget it. Thirty watts over a 10" speaker won't cut it, however, it is a very good sounding practice amp. I use a washburn fitted with dimarzio humbuckers (A humbucker from hell and an evolution) and A Godin with 2 single coil Godin pickups, and they both sound amazing over this amp. With a good guitar and pedal this amp is great.

Hasn't done a thing to me as of yet, and it's a solid state so I won't have any tube problems, so I'm happy.

Never had to deal with them, though I don't even think univox has a customer support line or office, because I had never even seen a univox before I bought this one.
