Maybe it was made in the mid sixes...or later early 70thes. The solid state makes me want to say 70thes. Now that's the kicker...it's solid state but, you would never believe it! It has 3 inputs but they are daisy chained together. But one seems more hotter then other two.
Channel switching? Effects loops? Headphone jack? lol what are those back in the stone age of solid state amps? The features it has are great , just tremolo and reverb and they can be turned on or off by footswitches. Any single switch should Do. Just pugged then in the back inputs.
The versatile is not limited to one sound if you use pedals. You can find enough pedals to sound like anybody in this thing. All drive and distortion pedals sound great. I mean it. I sat all day at the place called Atomic music that I brought it from and every pedal I used sounded pretty good out of this thing.

Hendrix ,S.R.V, Albert King, Bad company Trower, Clapton, ZZ Top...endless. We are talking at least 20 different types of drives and distortions and fuzzes. And we are not talking boutique pedals here.
If you can get the pedals to sound like your guitar heros...this amp is a good format for that. I use the amp in my bed room and at small gigs. But it can be miked for a bigger room. I give it a ten because it loves pedals...just don't throw 10 different drives and distortions back to back. You will muddy your sound. I used a different or two pedals a set and set up according to what pedals I used as to what songs I will play for that set. And chorus and other padels like that can run in the chain. Just don't crowd them up. 1 to 5 pedalssounds great without lost of it's tone... Wawa is also killer out of this amp.

I used single and humbuckers in this thing. The humbuckers are slightly alittle louder but the single coils sound just as good with only a slight drop in volume...it really isn't that noticeable.. The secret to this amp's tone is to dime it. Now you can use your volume on the guitar to clean really clean or compress it.. It doesn't distort all saggy but does sound almost tubed compressed. It will do a lot of styles and it is not noisy in most cases. So pedals may be noisy but it still not a big ugly noise. It has two 10 inch speakers that look like old Oxfords that some of the smaller classic Fenders used. But they are a little stronger and cleaner in a good way then those old Oxfords!

Reliability : 9
Well I only own this amp for two months now. Being 55 the amp is a joy to lift up and carry. That two plus' for me . Light and great tone. Well let's call it very good tone...being that I do like tubes better. And when I can get help moving stuff for a gig...I use the Peavey classic 30 or the Fender super 60. But if it's just me...then this is the the amp I now take lol. So far it has be dependable and it hasn't broke down in the 30 or 40 years it's been on this planet. My tech opened it up and just chased the spiders out of it and put it back together. He said it needed nothing. Not even a cap looked rotten or dried up! Amazing! But I better give it a 9 instead of a 10 just to be on the safe side lol. knock on wood...it should still be working long after I am dead.

Well look...I know I am making it sound really to good to be true...but in all honesty I rate it a good amp with good tone and a good weight.
I have been playing over 40 years. As a kid my amps were big...but as time went on they got smaller...and more time passed...now lighter.
This amp makes it possible for me to go anywhere alone and not break my back or arms. I still love to play and still play in working bands.
There is nothing I hate about this amp. If it was stolen I would find another. And if I found who stole it...I would break their fingers lol.
O.K. it's not a Fender or a Marshall...but what do I care about that? It has a sweet tone in it's own right. And... If any of older cats out there still got the strength to deal with two 4 '12 cabs and a 100 watt head or a twin reverb...then be my guess. I will meet you at the gig with this thing. No problems.

Simple enough - 6 knobs - volume, bass, treble, trem intensity, trem speed, reverb. Three inputs on the left. Mine has the original Pro-Mag Univox speakers - I think they're 10's but might be 12's. Wish it had a distortion channel.

Sound Quality : 10
Using a 79 Strat, Harmony Roy Smeck, and other cheap vintage guitars. No noise whatsoever from the amp. Truly underrated. The tremolo is awesome - the reverb is nice too; just a little spacey on higher levels if you know what I mean - tends to want to echo a bit - I keep it at 6 and under. Overall a really nice amp for the money spent on it. I'd buy another if I lost it. Very clean sound. Sounds great with my Boss OD-1 and T-wah. I also run my Yardbox thru it and it sounds awesome.

Reliability : 10
Never broken down. Built nicely and sturdy in my opinion.

Been playing for 17 years. This amp sounds as nice as my Music Man 210 on the clean channel. Has a better tremolo than my Music Man also. No lie.

1971 I believe. Enough features - Vol, Bass, Treble, Trem (Inensity), Trem (Speed) and Reverb. 3 inputs on front panel. Footswitch with 2 remote inputs on rear for trem and reverb. One channel solid state 35w.

Sound Quality : 8
Very clean sounding amp and can get very warm with the P-90's from the Epi. Filtertron types from my Silvertone sound really cool too - surfy. No noise whatsoever. Nice response from bass and treble; trem better than the verb. These Univox amps to me were really underrated. Sounds exceptional for the $50 I paid for it. I'd like to do a blindfold test with other mid range combos made today.

Reliability : 10
No breaks or downtime - this one is truly well built. Would gig it with no backup.

Love the reliability and tones from this combo. I play an old Epi Casino and a Silvertone 1478 Phantom and they both sound incredible thru this amp.
