Using it for harmonica, it has a great sound, feed back greatly reduced by dialing down the tone and or using the regular channel(s).
It is a bit noisy at higher volume but otherwise sounds great.

Reliability : No Opinion
Just got it do not know but I am bullish on it.

What is the model and name? Other than "Oahu" on the front i can not tell. it does not look like any thing else i have seen on the web or in any store. Any one have a clue? Will send a picture when I can get my hands on a digital camera.

Traded my Danelectro and Blues Junior + US$200 for this amp. Been a harp player for many years, looking for my own sound, I do believe that this amp is going to do the trick or be a step in the right direction.

1940's Oahu 1 10, 3 channel tube amplifier - for a small amp ot really rocks. I bypassed the internal 10" speaker and patched to a 12" Mesa Boogie wedge - what a difference! This amp set up in this way can take on the best of them. It is a simple amp - Tone, Volume, 3 inputs, nothing else.

Sound Quality : 10
I use it with my DOT - it was made for lap steel, but it should not be underestimated - a good hollowbody sounds great through it. Turn it just past 3/4 and the natural distortion is smooth as cream.

Reliability : 10
Tough as nails - 60 years old and still cranking!

Customer Support : No Opinion
I think all the original customers are dead.

Overall Rating : 10
If you come across this amp for less than $200.00 US - take it and run!

1951 model, 10-inch speaker,1 channel,1volume,1 tone.
All tube, 10 watts or so. Creme covering w/ custon Marlboro burn on top. Plastic handle.

Smooth, beautiful tone. Excellent for recording, home playing,
small clubs or a joint with a good PA. Recommended for blues,
classic rock, harmonica ampin', or extra amp for stereo/2-amp
setups. Sounds fine with most guitars.

Reliability : No Opinion
Well, it's awfully old...but it's sturdy. Don't turn it up too loud, especially if using a OD/ fuzz - you could blow the speaker. Tubes are rare / weird.
Otherwise, appraised of its limitations, roadworthy.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not in existance. Can be repaired by savvy tech.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been at-it for decades, own a ton of gear.
Lost / stolen - would replace [good luck, tho]
Wish it had reverb, oh well. It sounds great, better than many
'bare bones' boutique jobs.
