I got this amp about 4 years ago. Its a great practise amp with a distortion channel and a clean channel. it also has 2 inputs. It also has reverb but I dont use this because i have a digitech board for that sort of stuff

Sound Quality : 7
It sounds pretty good. I use it with a pretty basic samick. I usually use it with the humbucker as that sounds better then the sc.
my mate has a bass but didnt bring his amp and it could handle my guitar in the hi input and his bass in the low input up at full volume with no problems

Reliability : 10
There has never been a problem with thos amp.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never needed it, never seen any vantage amps ever again in any stores

Overall Rating : 10
I got this amp cos it was the only brand in the store that i was buying my first guitar from. I recently got a behringer gx212 120 watt amp so i could hear myself with my drummer.
i probly woundt buy this amp again cos i have never seen anymore but if i lost this 1 and could find 1 then i would rpobly get it as a practise amp

It has a decent sized speaker, 2 inputs, mic, send, return, and phones sockets and 2 channels clean and o/d. I have never used the mic or the return sockets and the 2nd input isn't really practical cause it would simply be quieter. It also has reverb but i have turned round at about 4 cause it gives loads of feedback otherwise. The amp looks pretty cool and much more substantial than other competitors.

Right now i am still using it after 5 years (cause i can't afford more power). I am using a fender USA stratocaster and it sounds great through it. Depending on how i tweak the 3 band EQ i can get the sounds of some very different amps like marshalls and fenders but it really seems suited to fender amp styly and great for the electric blues (clapton) that i play. I started playing in a jam session in a local pub a few months ago and after tiring of playing my guitar through the p.a alone i brought my little vantage, turned the o/d volume to around 7, linked it to the p.a via the send jack and wow!! it sounds great. It never has been full blast and the p.a speakers spread the sound around much more than simply through the little speaker on th amp itself, my little vantage sounds better than the bigger amps set at 1!! At home i have the o/d set at 8 and the o/d volume at 2 and that is pretty annoying for the neighbours, in a previous house i had a large echoey room to play it in and it sounded poor so i lost heart with it, but in the little room i play it in now with lots of furniture and of course in the pub through the pa i have found a new love for this amp and until i get a band and start gigging, will save my money keep using it.

Reliability : 9
Touch wood there has never been a fault with this amp in 5 years. I have moved house a couple of times the open back is piled up with fluff and dust and i have slammed the brakes in the car and toppled it over a couple of times but it still plays as well today as it did ever. There has been a tendency for it to crackle occasionally for about a second, but the only thing i can put this down to is electrical surges in my area not a fault with the amp.

erm ...you pays yer money you takes your chance. I haven't seen this make anywhere since i bought mine though, are they still being made? They are not complicated and wouldn't cost much to repair i'm sure.

I bought this amp new with my beginner squier strat 5 years ago now. It came bundled in with it costing around #220 (around $330 US) so the amp on its own would have cost me around $75 US. Basically the amp has been a bargain.

Buy this guitar amplifier if you're a beginner guitarist or for practicing alone. Have 2 channels(clean & overdrive),2 inputs (High and low for your friend in case he is just plain lazy to bring his own). Basically this amp have the same features as the VG-15 but with an extra control which is reverb.

Sound Quality : 5
I'm using a Samick Flying 'V' with 2 normal humbuckers. Has a humming sound if reverb is full. Great for any kind of music if your a beginner like me(I think cause I play all kinds).

Reliability : 6
Like I wrote above use only for beginner guitarists or for practicing alone.

Customer Support : No Opinion
