Victoria Bassman- 2002 circa.
Versitlilty- This is NOT a Swiss-Army knife amp- it does the Bassman thing- Damn well! Features have been previously discussed, so I won't go into that. Subtle and varied tones w/ interactive tone controls. @ 45 wattsm it'll cut when I need it to- if not, You're FIRED! It's about tone, not ear bleeding volume!
There are times I'd be happy if it had reverb and tremelo built in, but My fender tube Reberb and Voodoolab Micro-vibe take care of that!

I use this amp w/ anything from Silvertoned to My Les Paul Premimum classic plus. I tend to use this amp for Blues , Jass and Rock gigs where I'm not tapdancing over effects and sound modifying every tune.
There is some hiss from the amp, but it is TUBE, and usually teh drummer covers that up. I can cover a lot of sounds w/ this beauty, have to be careful to not get lost in the sounds and bliss out. Vic's seem to be bass heavy, and I'm planning on making changes to fix this. Also absolute killer w/ harp. This ain't a metal amp kids- Roots Rock, Jazz, Country, BLUES.... Yeah, Man all the above.

Played for 37 years use Hetitage 535, '63 strat (real) L.P. Calssic Prem + , Washburn J-6, Silvertones, Dano's etc.
Man I can't ask for a more toneful amp- I'd still like it if rev and trem were built in, but.... have to switch tones on fly to play hard, so 2 channel tune amp (Super Reverb) rules for that application- most stages don't have enought room for me to carry 2 amps. I'd sell bady parts for another if this was stolen! Balls out compared to stock REAL 1960 Fender Bassman in side by side comparison. I put in NOS tubes- most times 12ay7 in 1st slot, and weber P10r's

The Victoria 45410-T is an exact replica of the famous 1959 Fender Bassman. This amp emulates pure vintage tweed simplicity with no reverb or tremolo, but it doesn?t need it. I play blues, funk, jazz & gospel. Believe me, this 45 watt amp with 4x10 combo has more head room then you?ll ever need on stage. I?m an owner of several Fender Tweed amps which have no edge whatsoever over these amps.

I?m currently playing a 1989 Fender Custom Shop Homer Haynes Limited (HLE) with NOS vintage pickups and a 1961 Gibson Les Paul/SG with stock PAF pickups through this amp. Like the great Fender Bassman, the tones from this amp are so sweet at low volume I almost never want to turn it up, but when I do the amp replicates the raw vintage tone one would expect to get from a Tweed Bassman.

Solid point-to-point wiring with high grade components throughout. The resistors are all Allen Bradley new stock carbon types. Today, only Victoria and Matchless are committed enough to have these carbon resistors made. The capacitors used in this and every Victoria are a proprietary type made to replicate the sound of a 40 year old Astron. Nothing else to eloborate on here.

There are only a total of three employees at the Victoria Amp Company. Mark Baier, the founder, his wife Maureen and one other employee. No high pressure sales pitches here, just great customer service.

I've been playing the guitar since 1965 and have owned and played through numerous amps. In the near future I plan on buying a Victoria 35115-T. If your looking for a real vintage sound but can't afford $5,000 for a vintage amp don't sell yourself short on a Victoria Amp. If you do you'll be sorry.

Not sure what date of manufacture..but I purchased new. Play mostly Blues,Country, Some Classic Rock stuuf and Swing. Most every feature on this amp has been coveres in other reviews so I won't go into them here. Thsi is 45 watts of tube-power, no reverb(doesn'y need any)or tremolo. I use this amp mostly for small gigs in clubs the seat any where from 100-400 people. Very powerful amp.

I play primarily a '73 Tele with stock pickups. Have also used a Super-Strat and an old 335. All of these guitars sound really nice with this amp. It's tone is just killer. Have recently started to xperiment with different tubes. Svetlana 6L6GC's and some NOS Phillips 6L6WGB's. both sound great. The amp tends to break up sooner with the NOS as they are 25 watts vs 30 watts for the Svetlana's.
This amp is a dream come true. I am usually not so sappy about something mechanical but this amp is everything it was promoted to be.
My first nite out with it was a local blues jam. These guys are serious anout their blues and are well equipped. I got to hear this amp against old Showman's , Pro reverbs, Matchless and Boogies. Every guitar player there was very impressed with this amp. It clearly cut through and stood out among all of these other amps. All of them waited their turn at playing through it. Clean tone is very clear and balanced. Run it through a FD2 for the overdrive. Helps to get a nice distortion atlower volumes. This is a simple amp to run with no gadgets or accessories so if you want XLR lines out and effects lops this is not for you. Can be a very loud amp probably not the best choice for small rooms. Volume pot runs from 1-12 with break up with the NOS coming in around 4-5 and 7-8 with the Svetlana's. Turning up the Presence control up past 5 tends to help the amp break up sooner at lower voulumes. Distortion tones suit me fine..I am not a metal guy so the cleaner distortion this amp puts out really siuts the music I play.

I have been playing for about 20 some years. Some of those professionally in clubs and studios. Own a quite a few instruments and amps. Fender, G-K's , SWR and old Epiphones. I would definitely buy another one of these amps and will probably buy another different Victoria model when I can. I can honestly say that one of the reasons I even considered this amp was due to some of the feeedback on this website. All I can say is that if you are in the market for a new/vintage type amplifier you owe it to yourself to demo ones of these amps. You won't be disappointed.

As already mentioned in the other reviews, this amp is build after a '59 Fender Bassman. No features, very simple and I don't need any feaures. This is my third Victoria and with its 40-45 Watts my most powerful one.
It has 4x10 Jensen Reissue speakers and I changed all tubes to premium NOS tubes (5881 Tongsol's, RCA 12AX7 and a GE 5* 5751), which was a recommendation from Mr. Baier at Victoria. The cabinet is solid pine.
In some cases, depending on the room I'm playing in, I use a Reverb Unit.

The guitars I'm using are Fender Stratocaster and a Danelectro for slide. I play blues and the tweed tone is my tone heaven. The clean and driven sounds are complex and sweet, warm and full just what you expect from a tweed bassman.
One of the previous reviewers mentioned that this amp sounds only good at high volumes. I don't know what he was looking for, but if you are looking for blistering distortion this is not for you. But if you into the vintage tweed tone with its complexity, detail and 3 dimentional tones this is a blues guitarist dream come true. I like it at any volume. The tones you get out of this amp has a natural reverb to it which is one of the great things about the tweed amps. I only use a Reverb Unit in very dead rooms. My setup is guitar cable and amp, very simple and I don't miss a thing since I use Victoria amp's.

My oldest Victoria is about four years old the second one more than two and I own this bassman since July. I never had a problem with any of them.

I spoke to Mr. Baier several times to discuss tube configuration and speaker brand of choice. His support, help and knowledge is as great as his product.

I play Victoria's for over 4 years now and I found my amp. I love the Fender Tweed tone and Victoria is delivering this tone with a very high quality product. I have three of their amps and I can't say which is my favorite. It depends on the day and the situation, but I do understand why the 4x10 Bassman is the favorite of so many guitar and harp players.
Does it nail the "real" Bassman tone? I tried several old ones and to my ear the Victoria is darn close. The Victoria is a new amp, which gives me the warranty and relability for a lot less money than an original Bassman.
