The features are the same as a narrow panel Fender Twin. Since the idea was to recreate an amp of the past, not invent something brand new, rating this amp on features doesn't seem like its important. The main feature of this amp is the sparkling clean sounds that thunder from the Jensen C12N's.

I play a 1970 Gibson ES335 with Frailin pickups, and a stock(except for some sanding I did to the neck to make it smoother and give it less friction against my hand)2001 Fender Deluxe Strat. This could be the best amp I've ever played. I have owned old fenders, mesa boogies, and a bad cat. This, my friends, is one evil amp. It has enough power to shut even the loudest drummer up. Turn up the volume and let it growl and the amp doesn't even blink. Huge low end that is tight, articulate, and very 3D. The highs are bright, sparkly, and spanky. This thing really sings. I just got mine today, but have been waiting for a few months for it, so I'm pumped.

Like I said, I just got mine. Time will tell. It seems road worthy. The build is clean and sturdy, a lot of love went into this thing. By looks alone I feel like it will be dependable. the only amp I thought had a better build was my bad cat.

I have high hopes for this amp. My search for the ultimate tone led me to Victoria. The way I see it, I want a simple amp. I want an amp that gives me the best clean tones around. Anything else can be made up for with pedals. This amp just kills everythiong else out there.
As far as pedals for this amp go, I first tried a maxon od9 for distortion. I really liked the pedal, bu not for this amp. The ones I thought worked best for this amp were the Budda Phatbass distortion or the Z-Vex Super Hard-On. (The Z-Vex was the favorite). Rock-n-frickin-roll man

The features of this amp are very simple. This is not a multi-channel high gain vibrato and reverb stocked amplifier. For that reason I am rating this amps features with amps like the line 6 vetta, johnson millenium, marshall avt, or fender cyber-twin in mind.
What this amp does feature is a solid pine, finger jointed cabinet. Two 12" reissue jensen alnico magnet speakers, cts pots, hand wired circuts, N.O.S. tubes, transformers that have been designed to match and exceed the quality and tone of the original fender low powered tweed twin, incredible passive tone controls that allow more bass to get though to your ears, a treble and presence control that give you a creamy overdrive with smooth top end and a humming harmonic low end. Yeah, this may fall under sound but, isn't that a feature you should be interested in?

I use a 2001 '58 Les Paul with the burstbuckers, '98 335 with antiquity pickups, a real solid strat with texas specials. George L's from guitar to amp. Sometimes I use a fulldrive on the lowest distortion setting to force a little extra breakup at low volumes (i live in an apartment in the city).
The first thing that I noticed about this amplifier when I plugged into it and turned it on was something that I always looked for in an amp but had never found before. I turn the bass and treble all the way up, the presence at about 2, and I start the volume low and turn it up over time. What struck me was that I couldn't tell, at first that it was even on. I was strumming through some E7 blues licks and some low cowboy chords and all I heard was the sound of my guitar in my hands. I kept turning the guitar up, a little more, a little more, and then I realized that it wasn't only amplifying the sound of my guitar but it was doing it with the EXACT same sound as I could hear coming out of the guitar itself. And the sound doesn't come out of the front of the amp. It sound like it comes from about 3ft. inside the box and it just fills the room with a perfect replication of what your fingers, strings, pickups, and guitar is doing. The sound is fabulous. I can not think of an amp to compare it to. The bass is equal to that of a marshall stack (plexi or otherwise) big bass. The bright channel is a bit too bright for me, very crisp and very clean with the same amount of bass but so much of that sweet upper midrange rich treble that you don't notice it quite as much.
I don't agree that this amp is good for people that like pedals. Maybe a fender reverb chamber and maybe an anolog delay (echoplex or something. I am not saying that becuase I am a vintage buff who thinks that the old stuff always sounds better. It comes down to application. This amp likes my clyde wah, but not my fd2, or ts808. It realy enjoyed my 64 reverb. With the fd2 and ts808 you can really hear the preamp tube distortion. It sounds much crunchier and thin that just turning the amp up. I had a kendrick attenuator and it didn't sound all that hot but it was better than the pedals for getting a nice smooth distortion without the enormous volume that this 45-50 watt amp can put out. You can play any hendrixy or vaughn sounding tunes you'd like out of this amp with the same round enveloping tone that you hear on songs like lenny, wind cries mary and so on. I wouldn't think that this amp is suitable for metal but it will do R&B (new and old) blues, rock, jazz (can you say grant green) and everything else really well.

Excellent materials, worried about some of the tubes, don't care for the N.O.S. tubes so much but they do sound really nice. No rattles in the cabinet or otherwise, pots are solid, switches are tight, everything on the inisde soldered thick and shiny. I wouldn't worry about this amp breaking on you anytime soon unless you punish it without remorse. I am confident

I love this amp. Price at initial purchase is HIGH around 2300. Find it used if that is out of your range and you will be in amplifier heaven. I have to keep in mind the versitility of this amp while considering the current competition in the market for this ranking and because of this I have to give the amp an 8. The tone is better than I could have hoped for and I have been through every brand and model there is. Dr. Z prescription, Fener young and old (pre-CBS, CBS, and post CBS,) I worked in a guitar center so I have about three years on all of the amps they stock and the many amps they get in used. This is not for the sake of bragging but instead to let you all know that I have an experienced opinion and I am sincerely trying to help whomever is reading this to find the information they are looking for.

2x12 50 watt low power twin, single tube rectified with 5881's in the power section. Two channels (normal and bright) bass, treble, and presence controls. Simple layout, just plug in and crank. The only drawback is that there is no manual.

I play mostly classic/british rock styles with a les paul custom and p90 tele. This amp crushes most plexi's with both tone and power. When cranked the overdrive is definately Jimmy Page and flippin' loud. I tour mostly theater shows and "turn down please" is a phrase I hear often with this amp. So a hotplate would be a good idea for clubs. You really can't jumper the channels on this model but you really don't need to. The normal channel has a little more clean headroom than the bright, but if you dime the treble and presence you can get plenty of top end. This also adds to the creamy overdrive that every rock player strives for. As far as clean tones the amp is plenty loud enough before it crunches and you can get a very nice twin smooth tone. This would be a good amp for all those floor candy guys. Now its the only amp I own, because in the studio you can get the fendery clean, then crank it for full on rock show tone. i am considering picking up the Victorilux for the AC30 aspect. In all i would say this amp is the best sounding amp I have ever owned(vintage plexi's and twin's included).

New low powered twin w/ Jensen C12's. You know the lay out, very simple, but all the features I need, tone, tone and tone. The 50 watts is just what I need for stage and the amp is compact and fairly light.

I have a Gibson ES 446s, stock pickups and a 3 pickup t style semi-hollow guitar with Fralin vintage single coils. I play blues and go for a 50's blues tone, and this is the amp. You certainly could play other styles through it, but it IS the brown tone I've been seeking. I play through a reissue fender reverb tank straight into the Victoria, it's very sensitive to touch dynamics. Nice big round tones.

I've been playing some 35 years, never had a real tweed amp till now. I'm a happy boy. I've had plenty of fender style designer amps, but none sounded like this. My other amps are up for sale to get a Victoria Deluxe.
