This amp was made in Febuary of 2007.This amp was completely hand wired to the exact specs of a 1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp.Pictures were sent to me during the building of the amp.Pictures of the circuit board were impressive. All premium components were used. The amp has two normal imputs with volume, bass, and treble and two vibrato channels with volume, bass, middle, treble, reverb, vibrato, speed, and intensity.Features on the back of the amp are the same as a 1964 Deluxe Reverb. This amp is very quiet.Rick Hayes goes to a new level to achieve this. The Vintage Sound Standard is 22 watts and a Weber 12 inch speaker designed to sound like the days of old.

I have spent most of my stage career doing comedy and impressions. I love the old Rick Nelson music from James Burton and also the Elvis style by Scotty Moore. That's what I play. This amp really does it for me. Great reverb, warm tone, nice and clean till you get to 5 on volume. I've always liked that sort of haunting early rock sound and this amp gives me that. I play a 51' Nocaster and a 56'custom shop strat.

I think I can depend on this amp, do to the fack that it is hand wired.I haven't had the amp long enough for it to break down. But the amp does come with a five year warrenty. I would rate the packaging of this amp a 10 on the 1-10 scale.I don't see how this amp could have been damaged even if 2 guys played catch with it on the truck. the amp is solid and beautiful.I'll be using this on stage.

Rick Hayes is the owner and by the way, he does all the work of building the amps. It's a one man operation. I have had no issues with the amp. During the purchasing process Rick was a fantastic source of knowledge and help. There would never be a problem with support.

I have been playing guitar for 26 years but did not start playing electric till 4 years ago. I have owned Victoria,Carr, and Fender amps.If I ever buy another amp, it will be a Vintage Sound. There are getting to be alot of "hand wired" amp makers out there. But nobody does it like Vintage Sound. Oh, one more thing. The amp was only $1600.00.
