I bought a 4x12 slant cabinet, black tolex, oxblood w/ gold stripe grillcloth. It's made from 13 ply birch, with metal handles and plastic corner protectors. It has the capability to be run mono in either 4 or 16 ohms, or stereo in 8 ohms per side (assuming that you have 16 ohm speakers in the cabinet). The inside of the amp is accessible by removing the back. The speakers mount on the back of the cabinet's baffle. I bought the cabinet unloaded, and put in two Celestion Vintage 30's and two Celestion G12H30's in an x-pattern. Internally, there are additions to the cabinet that eliminate 90 degree angles. The cabinet is very well built, and looks great!

I use this cabinet with a whole bunch of different amps: Voodoo V-Rock 100, Voodoo Amps modded Marshall TSL100, Carvin Legacy, Ceriatone 2550 Marshall Jubilee clone, Blackstar HT-5, and Blackheart Little Giant. Every amp sounds great through this cabinet. The cabinet has a huge low end that is tight and focused. It projects very well at all volumes.

Reliability : 10
I have yet to gig with it, but I can't imagine any reasons why the cabinet wouldn't be reliable. It's built very well, very solid.

I can't say enough about how great the guys at Voodoo Amps are. Trace is a good guy and always takes the time to answer questions. I've communicated with him numerous times on the phone, via e-mail and in person. I actually visited his shop a few months back while I was vacationing in the Finger Lakes area, and got to meet Trace. He and I talked for quite a while about amps and music, and even gave me a box full of free guitar magazines! I wouldn't hesitate to buy more products from Voodoo Amps.

Overall Rating : 10
This cabinet is a great buy. It may be a bit more expensive than some of the other mass produced units out there, but you know you're buying a very high quality product from an honest company. Best of all, the cabinet sounds phenomenal!

2006 rear loaded model with chrome logo SLEEK AND MEAN LOOKIN!
wired with KILLER voodoo 50/50 speaker cable (I ended up re-wiring all my other cabs and most of my friends cabs with this cable) Huge difference from stock.
heavy duty casters similar to Mesa but better
I mainly use this for recording as it is the best sounding most natural of all the other cabs I own (Mills / Randall Lynch / Marshall / Mesa)I am actually selling a few of these as they are redundant when I don't use them unless gigging at a club where I know my stuff is gonna get banged up lol.

I have tried a few speaker combinations and for recording purposes I have 1 greenback / v30 / g12h30 heritage / texas heat (may replace with Eminence super v.

Love the versatility and tone from this cab / speakers

I use Motor City Pickups (many models= Afwayu / 2nd degree black belt / many custom winds)

Voodoo modded Mesa dual rectifier
Randall RM100 / Lynch box

Voodoo moded Randall modules

This cab exceeds any expectations every time I hear it and works for all my applications.

This cab has a projection to it unlike any other out there. It is like the sound comes out the front almost excusively as it should as that is where the frickin mic is. Alot of cabs let the tone / sound out of the sides / back and do not have the projection you would think.

A soundmans dream for directional output and low volume (where needed).Clarity at low or high volumes with minimal bleedthrough to other instruments. The cabs output pattern reminds me of the difference of a sm57 directional type of pattern vs omnidirectional mics that pickup unwanted ambience.

This cab is very balanced and not like the other cabs I have especially the oversized ones. This is why I use the cab for recording all the time. You hear what is actually there with no tone degradation or overtones / masking of tone.

The design of the cab internally is unlike any other I have seen as it does not allow for standing waves (tone robbing culprit. This is a big factor in it's projection and "true" tonal qualities.

Reliability : 10
I have never had any issues at all with the cab or hardware. Everything is solid / sturdy / roadworthy.

As anyone who has dealt with Trace will tell you.... He is knowledgable / kind and PATIENT. I emphasize patient as I am a tone freak and VERY VERY meticulous. Trace always comes through on delivering awesome tone, products and customer service.

I have been playing 23 years and own tons of hi end gear and only spend money on top quality amps / cables / cabs / etcetcetc.

I would be calling Voodoo for another cab if this were stolen at 8 am sharp lol

I dig the natural tone and projection

The only thing I would change is the fact I dont have another one with 16 ohm speakers / stereo jack.

I have compared this cab to all the "big names' and it slays them, including the Bogner ubercab and deisel. Yes I really compared them side by side with the same speakers etc.
