30 watt class A tube amp, made in 2008 in UK.
The amp was pretty versatile for a one channel amp. I have it set for a clean with my guitar volume at half, a good beautiful drive on full, and hitting the boost puts you into a wonderful amazing lead territory. Great effects loop. 30 watts, but a good 30 watts. 2 el34 tubes and 3 12ax7.
Originally I would have given this rating a 8 or 9...Once it came back from voodoo it gets a full ten. I now have an added mid-girth control, exclusive to them, which is much like a low-mid addition, to fatten up any sound. They have also added a global control, which is kinda setting the mid value/direction of the amp in a nutshell. This amp used to be just what it is...a british voiced amp staying true to the tradition...Now I can play with that voicing, or turn a few knobs and instantly indulge a spectrum of fluidity and expression from fender-esque tones to boogie, to all cornford and marshall, and beyond. Voodoo turned my rockbox into a tonethrone.

I am playing this amp from a usa dean custom spalt top ml. Let me start by saying this amp never sounded bad...but now is never sounds under phenominal. The cleans went from clean to pristine, the lighter drive went from full and jammin' to awesome fat and rockin'. The lead side of this amp...has entered another world. It retained all the small detail and articulation that it had before, all the things I love about cornford, but now it sounds so much fuller and fatter, and fluid, in a breathtaking way. The tone Wizards at Voodoo proved theyre honest players, and not just phenominal techs. I play lead guitar primarily, and spend probably 75% of my time doing that exclusivly, and now I've got a tone that can stand with the best british tones, or switch over to a soulful texas-like drive, that is now so much smoother and lively. In a band situation I am now able to sit better with the band, and overall I just sound better. The sustain, harmonics, articulation, and love have all been enhanced by Voodoo. Theres not a tone you cant achieve when you work with these guys. I've been through mark series boogies and diezels and lonestars and whatnot, and there are things I liked about them all, but...this roadhouse voodoo modded amp has all the things I need as a passionate player, and some. If I had 3 words to describe I would say...sonically harmonic magic. Incredible. Sustain until you die, and rock with better tone than any other. Fat, not muddy, slinky but focused...and unforgiving if you're not on it, and VERY forgiving when you are. To the guys at Voodoo, THANK YOU, for making the tone Ive heard in my heard, but could never achieve.
The global and mid-girth controls allow so much...if your amp is bright and harsh, talk to these guys...theyll allow you to keep the things you love, and taylor the rest to your naturalism as a player. I got my beefy mids!

The best ever...So many time during this SUPER quick mod deal, was I able to call and talk to mike (awesome dude) and trace (also awesome dude). They relate to you on a player's level...And you realize, your talking to people who love guitars and tone, and who are passionate, and honest players like we are...hence they know what were talking about. They take the corners of treble squares, and make a perfect circle, focus what you want, and gave me the mids and smooth top end I longed for.

they are amazing. I spent under $400 to have two new tone controls and then custom mod/voice the entire amp for me, changing value of mids, rounding top end, fattening up, better fuller mids for lead work, and TWO new tone controls...a custom amp for me..for that price? WHAT!? yea, they rock like my tone now.
