Got all of the Voodoo Amps Options: Bottom Control, Mid Girth, Gain With "Pull Boost", And Global Tone Control. The Amp is very versitile, and can do anything from Heavy Metal on down. I also Got the Deluxe FX Loop, that is tube driven... Effects are very warm and expressive with this mod.

Using This Amp with a variety of Guitars, and pickups... Gibson Les Paul with Gibson TI signature, PRS with Duncan Blackouts, Strat with Duncan Full Shred, Another PRS with stock Pickups, a BC Rich Gunslinger with A Dimarzio Super Distortion.

I started with this quest by looking for and finding a 1979 Marshall 100 watt JMP which I found in MINT, never gigged condition Then started out to find someone I would trust modding it. After some dead end streets. I found Trace Davis of Voodoo Amps. And I knew this was the man for the job. So, what you all want to know is... How does it sound??? Well... How can you describe the realization of a dream I've had since I was 10 years old? When I was 10 back in 1970 I used to play Black Sabbath, I always dreamed of an amp that could satisfy my desire for a Warm, Rich Punchy tone with searing leads. I was never totally happy with anything till This. It's everything I ever wanted! Not only can it do Sabbath, it can do everything in between from Van Halen To Dokken, from Accept to Richie Blackmore. With all the Add on Controls Voodoo offers, the amp is no one trick pony, it can do it all. It has perfect and controlable feedback, articulation, and devastating Distortion!

I have mostly had this amp on for weeks... I'm pretty accomplished with electronics... having been into Hi-Fi tube gear for 30 years, and working on my own stuff... I have had my hands in stuff that costs a Hundred Thousand dollars... When I saw the work that Voodoo did inside this amp, I was amazed! It is among the finest art work I have seen in an electronic device. The quality of parts, and execution are un-paralled. I can see no way that this unit will not prove to be reliable.

***UN-EQUALED*** You have no idea what a Pain I can be being extremely OCD. This man stood by me, answering questions, making tube recommendations... Listening to songs I sent him. His calm reassuring manner gave me the confidence to leave my new baby with him for surgery... and this confidence was well founded. You want to talk customer service? How about letting me coming down, and hand tweaking it till I was thrilled? Am I Doug Aldridge? or Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard that Voodoo Does amps for? NO! Does my sound mean as much to me, as it does to them? Maybe More! I'm no Rock Star, but Voodoo, and Trace Davis made me feel like one, and that goes for everyone else at the company, you most definitely don't feel like a number, Trace Truly made me feel like he cared deeply about my dream, and the results speak for themselves.

I have been playing for 35 years off and on... And when Off it was due to the frustration of not getting the right tone, and other various problems in life... Now that I have found the Holy Grail, I will never put the guitar down again. Trace at Voodoo is chiefly responsible for finally getting me where I wanted to be.
