1973 Marshall 100 watt SuperLead. The amp was in rough shape but not to far gone. The guys at Voodoo have worked on several amps for me and the work has always been outstanding, so I thought I would have this Ebay purchased amp sent to the pros!! It's a basic old school Marshall head - "A real British Bitch" single channel, etc. They performed the 10,000 mile check up and ended up changing the caps, cleaning up a few troubl spots, rebaising and all new tubes.
Most important - a Post Phase Master Volume to get those vintage tones at lower volumes!!!

I play in my home inside a small studio and record directly into a little crazy box called a MAC. First, let me say the service and support of these guys is the BEST!!!! American car companies should take a lesson on quality, service and listening to what the customer wants from VooDoo. Anyway, Amazing tones at whisper volumes and it only gets better the louder it's turned up. Do yourself a favor and call Mike or Trace and see for yourself how the tones you hear in your head can be turned into the tones from your amp in a short period of time for a very reasonable amount of money. I just sent another Marshall and I know exactly hos it will sound and if I were to have anu problems or issues, it's as easy as calling the guys and working through it.

10's across the board may seem like a "homer" score to give but it's factual and I understand how important this web site is to many of us, so I would not steer you wrong. I suggest you listen to the clips and call Mike for a tone conversation!!

Amp was modded by Trace at voodoo amps. he installed global knob ,
cream knob and a pre phase inverter master volume( when master is on 10 its out of the curcuit) . it is a trem model so the plexi face was not drilled and can be put back to stock.unlike a stock plexi this is not a one trick pony

The amp was set up for me . I use strictly custom shop strats with various type of after market pickups.The amp is great for my style of playing which is texas blues (SRV, etc) and classic rock.It cleans up great when you roll off the guitar volume with the mods he did.It handles stomp boxes great. I use a Sweet ultra Vibe , Hot cake ,Perplexed with it .The amp is very quiet. If you crank it it breaks up real nice for blues

Ive been playing 25 years and own may other amps . Brunos,Fender,Marshall,Blockhead. If it were lost or stolen I would want anotherone for sure
